New Snap literally made me jump off my sofa. I don't think I've been so excited at a game reveal since Smash Bros Ultimate. Isle of Armor is out too! Spoilers, obvs:

Formula E is finishing the season with 6 races in 9 days, across 3 layouts, all in Berlin.

I've bred 270 Sobble in a row and no shiny yet (with the Shiny Charm and a foreign Ditto). This is fun.

Portimao is in "advanced negotiations" to host a race (or two) in 2020.

Japan still aren’t saying when they’ll let people in, which I guess is probably part of the issue. EDIT: F1 Twitter put a poll up asking where people wanted to see a race, with Imola, Algarve (Portimao) and Mugello as the three named options

Baku, Singapore and Suzuka all definitely cancelled. Double race at Hockenheim is apparently likely now and they might even have a race at Mugello, which would be a pretty big surprise (especially considering there’s still no mention of Imola in all this...)

AS5 Episode 1:

I suspect they're holding off "European Grand Prix" in case they have to do a double header at Hockenheim at any point. I think they've purposefully only said those 8 in case they can't get out of Europe and then they'll just do the minimum 10 by doing a double there.

Finale thoughts:

1. Pokemon Red - I remember to this day the frustration when, in my first play through, I got all the way to Agatha with pretty much just an overpowered Venusaur and she wiped the floor with me. 2. Jumping Flash - First console game, still one of my absolute faves to go back and play. Such a fun and wacky platformer and it set me up (along with Pandemonium) to really love that type of game for a while. 3. WCW/NWO Revenge / Wrestlemania 2000 - I played both of them equally even if I got Revenge first, I guess. They're both so, so good, and I never had No Mercy to compare them to either, so I think that has made them much more special over time. 4. Championship Manager - Days, Weeks, hell probably months of my life have been spent on CM 97/98 and CM 01/02. 5. EWR - It was EWR or Halo and to be honest EWR probably just pips it out, for pretty obvious reasons.

Renault reportedly opens talks with Bottas.

I don't see any reason, other than money and "because German", that Vettel would ever want to go to Mercedes to lose to Lewis.

Alonso "ready" for F1 return I mean I really don't see why he'd go back to Renault. At best he'll be Schumi at Mercedes.

The Renault seat would be the interesting one. Presuming Renault sticks around, that is; I wouldn't be shocked if they pull out (and Ocon gets screwed again in the process). I can't see Hulk going back there, somehow. If Merc want to move Russell up, it could be a nice spot for Bottas.

I've seen this a fair bit today, and I'm going to guess the reason was that (whilst we barely saw it, for obvious reasons), [redacted] was probably consistently funny throughout that whole set, even if it's a rehash of old material. Whereas Heidi bombed and Jaida's only saving grace was the moments where she pointed out that she was flopping. Granted Jaida was almost set up to fail thanks to [redacted], but I can imagine that's what the real difference was. Then again I'd say the only ones who really did well this challenge were Crystal and Jackie and even then, they weren't really that much compared to previous "one woman show" type challenges.

Yeah, Season 12 has been massively entertaining so far. Easily the best since 9. I was 100% on Team Gigi to begin with, but Jaida is growing on me so, so much at the moment and I think she’s probably my favourite now. Crystal’s family resemblance look may be one of my absolute favourites of all time, too. She’s another one that has massively grown on me. Also! All Stars 5 cast is out!

Yeah, the "be the 11th team" mode is actually drawing in me a lot more than I'd thought. I got F1 2019 on Steam when it was on sale the other week and I've enjoyed it, albeit with my laptop having some serious framerate issues at times making it a little less fun to play... But the fact you can simulate people moving up from F2 also sounds like it'll be a lot of fun. Codemasters seem to finally be turning the corner on the franchise after the 15-18 kinda slum where nothing really changed. Also, for those who don't know; Frontier (Planet Coaster/Zoo etc.) are doing an officially lincenced F1 manager sim, although I don't think it's due out until 2022...
