  1. 7 points behind Arsenal and Chelsea already, not looking good for us at all, so Rooney would be more than ideal atm.
  2. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/e...rem/3592494.stm Seems that Man U have made another offer.
  3. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/foo...rem/3592494.stm Rooney demands transfer Career statistics: Wayne Rooney Everton's Wayne Rooney has handed in a transfer request as Newcastle and Manchester United fight out a £25m battle for his signature. Manchester United are expected to make an increased bid on Friday after Newcastle had a £23.5m offer rejected. Everton insisted Rooney make his request to leave Goodison Park formal before sanctioning his departure. And reports on Merseyside are suggesting Rooney now favours Newcastle ahead of an Old Trafford switch. The 18-year-old England striker said: "I hope Everton's fans will understand my decision." "This has been one of the hardest decisions of my life but I feel the time is now right for me to move forward with my career. "The Euros were a fantastic experience for me. It made me realise I could play at the highest level. "To do that I need to be with a club that is playing in Europe every year. I hope the Everton fans can come to understand my decision and I hope the transfer fee Everton Football Club receive will help the club move forward. "The Everton fans have always been fantastic in their support of me. I hope they respect my decision and I also hope that some day in the future I could be welcomed back to watch the team I have supported since boyhood." United boss Sir Alex Ferguson earlier revealed his desire to land Rooney and believes he remains in pole position ahead of Newcastle. But Newcastle remain confident, and it is understood that a move to St James' Park appeals strongly to Rooney, although Ferguson can be expected to conduct a fierce fight to land him. "We have made our intentions clear we would like the boy," said Ferguson. Rooney scored four goals for England at Euro 2004 as he emerged as one of the stars of the tournament before he suffered the foot injury in the quarter-final to Portugal from which he is still recovering. Ferguson added on MUTV: "Rooney's a fabulous player - he showed that at Euro 2004 - and is a young player." "He's not the finished article yet, but we've got experience of bringing young players to the club and bringing them on." But it has also been reported that Newcastle are willing to go as high as £28m to land England's star of Euro 2004. Rooney has so far refused to sign a new five-year contract worth £50,000-a-week and it is now increasingly likely Everton will have to sell their prize asset. But Everton chairman Bill Kenwright insists a decision is down to manager David Moyes. "Whatever happens with the sale, if it happens, it will be down to the manager," he said. "It's the manager's final decision." He added: "I would love him to be at Everton when he's a granddad. I can't tell you if he will be at Everton next week. "We don't need to sell Wayne Rooney, we do not need to sell him." Newcastle boss Sir Bobby Robson admitted he was in the dark over his club's bid. But he came under fire from Everton manager David Moyes, who insisted Rooney was worth much more than Chelsea's £24m star Didier Drogba ------------------------------------------ It was also on SKy Sports news. I think he will have moved club by Sunday, probablly to Manchester United also.
  4. It's been rumoured that the Prem teams will be updated, as will transfers, to match this seasons when Pro Evo 4 is released. It was just a rumour though, but either i way i'm not bothered because i'll have the PC version, and will download a mod.
  5. Just watched the latest videos at gamingring. Two things i noticed. 1. The referee properly attacks you if you knock him down. I'm not sure if it depends how many times you knock him down, but in the video, he was knocked down once, and the referee spent the rest of the match attacking the guy that knocked him down. Looks like that could be very annoying. 2. It was a TLC match, same video as above, and i noticed that there ended up being 3 ladders pulled from under the ring, plus a table. This means there are no limits on the type of weapon you can use, probablly limits on the amount of weapons though . And if these are already known, then i didn't know them so meh .
  6. www.cmfaq.com has quite a few if IIRC. I didn't try any of them, because i'm waiting for the transfer window to end.
  7. Agreed. Best and scariest game i've played in a while.
  8. I got a feeling Pink Floyd will be in the top 15. Unless they are already in between 16 - 100 and i missed them, but they deserve to be in top 15 anyway.
  9. http://rtlztv.rtl.nl/rtlzbroad Whoo, free live stream for the AC Milan game which kicks off in about 10 mins. No sign-up required, the link should open up WMP automatically, it did for me. Commentary will probs be in Dutch though. EDIT: Meh, ignore that, link stopped working just after i finished posting.
  10. Go to the house next to the gym and get Surf. Then i assume you surf somewhere, but i can't do that since im still on my little side mission of obtaining the old rod.
  11. i checked the first place he was, and he wasn't there. Then i looked in the big city place he takes you to, and he weren't there either.
  12. Me being the idiot that i am just got surf, and realised i had no water pokemon. Then, i realised i didnt have a rod of any sorts to catch a water pokemon. So i think im screwed here, as i cant figure out a way to get back to Dewford town to get a rod. Is there any other way i can get a water pokemon?
  13. Dream Theater. Lots and Lots of it. Not going to happen though Ah well, alot of the music on VC was listenable so hopefully this one will be the same.
  14. Björk is hot. Music is pretty entertaining too.
  15. The new Rachel Stevens song. It's amazing
  16. Looks like United have Chelsea as the open game next season. Here's the current fixtures. (Have'nt chcked the other pages to see if they have been posted, but i doubt they have.) 17. Before i get into my thoughts about the actual match, first thing i am going to see is that the atmosphere of the match was amazing. This is because that since i'm in Wales, and the pub i was watching it in was a welsh pub and there was a 50/50 split in who supported who. You basically had to be there to know how tense it was. Anyway, my thoughts on the match. Portgual deserved to win. 'Nuff said basically. And i can honestly say, if England didn't score that early goal, Portugal may not have played aswell as they did. Englands disallowed goal was debatable, but i can see where the referee was coming from. Ricardo was blocked off completely, and had no chance of even moving for the ball, and even though it wouldn't, and probablly shouldn't have been classed as a foul, it was unfair none the less.
  18. Found this on some other forums. Literally made me laugh out loud.
  19. Yeh, i remember someone saying Newstead had joined Ozzy for a bit. Isn't there also another band he's recently worked with? can't remember the name though.
  20. I got it, two many bugs for my liking. Singe player seems pointless aswell. Has potential to be good if the lag problems and bug fixes are sorted out though. My advise is to wait a while and wait to see what the patches can do, then consider buying it.
  21. Don't worry, Midget beat me to it.
  22. I seem to have got the Carnival Night music stuck in my head now because of you lot . Very annoying. Anyway, i preferred Sonic 3 out of all of them, only because i could save my game and i sucked so bad i needed to.
  23. I agree with the ronaldo point, he was the star player of the game. (I also take back what i said about not apolagizing for mistakes earlier, as i found out he doesn't speak a word of english apperently. so this must be why he looks at people stupid when they to him.) Second point, doesn't matter what team it is, it would have been a penalty anyway, thats the main thing. Third point, BBC showed the third goal while using the funky-line-thingy to test if he was offside and he was definately on.
  24. I will if the times you start running it are suitable, because i have alot of work to be doing, plus i just started a diary of my own, but if you don't start till midweek then that could be ok for me to join. If i'm able to join, i'll call Barcelona.
