  1. Anyone else in the UK preorder from Gameplay? I just got an e-mail from them saying that they haven't received their shipment from Nintendo yet so i won't get it by Friday, slightly disappointed.
  2. Saw them when they supported Metallica, put on a really impressive show.
  3. Metallica are recording thier own version of Ecstacy of Gold very soon i believe.
  4. For the people that's heard of 'em, the new Spock's Beard album has leaked and me finding it too hard to wait 3 weeks, i downloaded. Seriously, this album is amazing! I can't stop listning, there's about 3 or 4 songs i really dont care about at all, but the other however many make up for it. 'With Your Kiss' may possiblly be the best song i've heard in a long time.
  5. http://forums.evo-web.co.uk/index.php You may have to register, but everything you need should be on there. I don't know why you said sneakily though, downloading option files is completely legal anyway is it not? More to the point i suggest this - http://forums.evo-web.co.uk/showthread.php?t=34582 It'll pretty much update your option file completely, and it's every version of the game. It's the one i use for the PC version, but i have real kits etc. to go with it.
  6. I still think Sonata Arctica cannot be beaten. Although i admit i've never listened to Blind Guardian, but i heard they are similar to Iced Earth, which i don't rate higher that Sonata.
  7. Lemmy gave me and my mates a crate of Grolsch in Bristol, because he was off to the strip club. True story.
  8. Damn, i came into this topic hoping to suggest Sonata Arctica
  9. Should be going to see it soon, looking forward to it, i can imagine it being the type of film i'd find parts funny when i probablly shouldn't. However, Pirates on a Plane would be a far more entertaining concept.
  10. There's another new song floating about i believe, yet to hear it though. Trying to find it now. edit: Not the best quality but i think it's the best there is at the moment. Sorry if it's already been posted btw.
  11. The Gamecube shoulder buttons are too big and springy if ya know what i mean. I don't like them either.
  12. The order is pretty much the only thing that isn't definate here. 1. Metallica - Load 2. AC/DC - Back In Back 3. Dream Theater - Scenes From A Memory 4. Transatlantic - Bridge Across Forever 5. Spock's Beard - Snow 6. Sonata Arctica - Silence 7. Rush - 2112 8. Pink Floyd - Dark Side Of The Moon 9. Pearl Jam - Ten 10. The Beatles - Abbey Road (This is a weird choice 'cos i actually find myself skipping alot of songs, but i just love the songs that i don't skip)
  13. I demand a Captain Planet movie Seroiusly though, the orginal three movies were actually pretty good so the CGI thing is a bit of a let down.

    Neal Morse

Seriously, any music that this guy is involved in seems to amaze me. Transatlantic, even though they only have a limited number of songs (the majority of them being way over 15 minutes long on the other hand) have slowly become my favourite band. I really would have loved for this band to have carried on, the music is just so epic. I've been listning to Spock's Beard for a while aswell and the Neal era music impresses me so much (although, i also the like post Neal music for the catchy shorter songs, but it just doesn't impress me as much musically. I'll still be looking forward to a new album this year anyway.) His solo work shows what he actually brought to Spock's Beard though, as alot of it sounds similar, and i ignore the religous themed lyrics and enjoy the music in itself. Anyway, i'll make a point to this, anyone else a fan of Neal Morse in general ,Transatlantic or Spock's Beard?
  15. Is that Carom 3d (Think that's what it was called) game still around? That was actually quite amazing for a free online game, i used to play it all the time before i got my new comp. Think it was from here i discovered it aswell. Oh yeh, it required downloading a client and whatever so it can't be played on a browser if that's what you meant, but it was still entirely free. It also seemed more focused on pool but im pretty sure snooker could be played on there.
  16. Well, we played some random place here in Wales about a month ago and somebody took some videos of it so i basically deicded i'd post them for the hell of it. You may like the music, you may not, but you might find it entertaining anyways. Also, ignore the out of tune harmony in the second song. You can hear our original good quality sounding recordings here (I did actually post something in the advertising forum about the band a while ago, but i assume these videos count more as entertainment than advertising.)
  17. My ex made me watch it instead of the longest yard. Bad choice, i hated it so much, terrible film IMO.
  18. Get Shadows of the Colossus! Just read the topic floating about to find out how good it is, that's all that needs to be said.
  19. Listen to some Liquid Tension Experiment if you already haven't. A nice alternative to Dream Theater. Basically the same thing actually, just instrumental only. Oh, and check out Porcupine Tree also. They are awesome in thier own crazy random prog rock way.
  20. The Toejam and Earl theme can never be beaten! So catchy. Oh, the theme from the first Worms game always get stuck in my head aswell.
  21. check out http://www.hmv.co.uk/ The game is listed as £29.99 When you add it to your basket it goes down to £14.99. I assume if you pre-order it at that price then i have no choice but to give it to you at that price? http://img397.imageshack.us/img397/4713/untitled9jc.png I wont be getting it because im happy with Winning Eleven 9, but you guys might wanna try it before the realise thier mistake.
  22. http://www.myspace.com/skwad OK, that's the myspace, the bands website and whatever should all be on there. Everybody check out the music
  23. The title basically says it all. It's at some place in Swansea, not sure where yet though, the orginal venue was cancelled. Anyway, i've already reserved my space on the bus there with the band, so hopefully this means i'll be able to meet Jericho ( I have'nt even heard Fozzy properly yet, i'm just there for the fact it's Jericho.) Anyways, the band's name is S.K.W.A.D and two of the members are both sons of Phil Campbell of Motorhead. I wont post a MySpace and website links for you to listen to them etc. just yet because of the advertising rules, so i'll way till a mod to say it's ok. Oh, and apperently they are trying to get more dates with Fozzy around the UK and not just Wales, so Fozzy fans might be able to check them out some time. I'll quit bragging now .
