I remember i got beat against 2 3 of spades with pocket jacks the other week in a game with mates, off the net. The guy got a straight and a flush on the river (no, not a straight flush ) You just gotta think about how many times you've done that to someone else to stop yourself from getting pissed off to be honest, i felt really annoyed for ages, but let it go in the end.

Anyone know of any Hard Rock bands that sound similar to Metallica's Load? Godsmack is always the only suggestion i get when i ask people this, and IMO Godsmack sound nothing like the sound off Load.

It would have been awesome if they didn't have to those stupid actions with it. MK doesn't count though, that was just amazing.

The control is basically the same, but now the sidestep that used to performed by pressing R2 + Left or Right can be done with just left or right, which at times gets annoying but i find it very helpful most of the time. The pace of the game is also slower. Dribbling is WAY harder. Very realistic though. You no longer can skip past a defender with any player, you have to pass the ball and keep possesion alot more in order to break the defence. Only the skillful playmakers and wingers are going to be able to dribble past players, and it's still not that easy. Scoring actually feels like an achievment now because it's that hard. The most goals i've scored in one game is 4 (and ive played about 60+ games, each of them 15 mins long) against some shitty team on 5*, but i used to be able to score 9+ in one game against poor teams on pro evo 4. It can also get very frustrating when you miss easy chances because of they are less frequent. Throw ins are basically the same, you still control the thrower as opposed to the reciever, only difference i've noticed is that the long throw now has a power bar, but i still haven't made a succesful long ball into the penalty area. The only new skills i've noticed are the flip flap (Ronaldinhos move, although only a select few of players do it - Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, Cristiano Ronaldo, Imbrahamovic, Cisse :S and a few random Japanese players apperently.) There's also a Drag Back move, where the player puts his fot onto the ball, and rolls it back slightly.

The English patches have been coming out really fast since it's been released, i had a 90% English patch about 5 hours after my copy arrived. Although i can't be bothered to waste more DVD's till i get a full conversion patch, so i play it like it is for now. I'm really glad i imported the game though, it is truly amazing. If anyone has any questions i'm willing to answer them.

I'm halfway through my second season with Man United atm. Had a shocking first season, most of my players were unhappy because i was about 6th in the league (Although the points difference between 2nd - 6th was very small) and failed to even get past the group stage of the champions league. At one point i was told i could be sacked by the board unless i improve. The only player i purchased in the summer transfer window was Freddy Guarin because of my lack of funds (And i because i buy him every time i play a game.) Extra funds were made available in January though, where i brought in Van Der Vaart and Cudicini for around 15 Million altogether. I sold a couple of squad players also, can only remember selling Phil Neville though at the moment. Anyway, i managed to save my job and take second place at the end of the season. And i could also have still won the league upto the last two games at the season, where i had to win both, and Arsenal had to lose both. The next summer transfer window i brought in Sanli Tuncay, Anton Ferdinand (Haven't really had a chance to play him, i've been loaning him out since he arrived) and Park Ji Sung (I only signed him because he signed for Norwhich a week before and had a 3.5 million buy-out clause, so thought he'd become a good squad player.) Alan Smith and Scholes were the players i sold. I also released Carrol. Upto the January transfer window im unbeaten, and i've only drawn 4. I unsettled Ledley King in the build up to the transfer window, and after about of month of trying to get spurs to sell. Chelsea are only 4 points behind me at the moment, but i think i can keep my form up for the rest of the season, especially with King coming into the defence. My squad should be fine for the next few seasons, so no more big spending for me, i'll just focus on bring younger players in ready for when the older players retire.

Just got the Silence album. Power Metal usually just annoys me, but damn these songs are so catchy, mainly due to the vocals i think, but everything else is just as amazing.

It's a crime that i can run this game with a 64mb Radeon 9000 but i'm not complaining. All the settings are on low, but its playable, aswell as online without lag. So at least i can get the game and play it while a save for a new graphics card. Oh, and this plays alot better than Battlefront, the Galactic Conquest mod for 1942 is better than Battlefront also IMO. Although this game is still poorly optimised as opposed to Half Life 2 for example, but it doesn't matter, because i can run it, and people with decent video cards can't .

I'll agree, i woudn't think twice before doing her, and that's just from looking at the first picture.

Wanna know something more painful? Playing a game of real money with my mates (£3 buy in) last week. 1st prize would have funded the buying of resident evil 4. Got to 2nd position easily, then heads up, i had a dominant chip lead, and by dominant, i mean 3 more hands the blinds would have ate the other guy up. Yet, the guy continues to get lucky a couple of times with a few all ins, with the worst hand each time. Then, when i have only a slightly higher amount of chips left, we play a hand slowly, i get three of a kind 5's on the flop, he gets a pair of sevens, i check it, so does he. Some random card came on the turn that didnt make a difference to anyone, yet he goes all in. It was by far the worst all in raise ever, because i knew instantly that he had top pair only, so by this point i basically got over excited thinking i'd won. Only card he could win with was a 7, only two 7's left in a deck of 44 cards. The bastard got me on the river. I'm never gonna get over excited in a game of poker again, i looked like a right tit.

Meh, i'm not impressed, i get till the end planet without noticing any major bug....then i get screwed over right towards the end to the point where i can't continue unless i start again, since i saved after the bug had happened. (I basically got a cut scene when i wasn't supposed to, which prevented me from exiting, hence the save before realising.) I'll probablly load my auto save, i assume its at the start of the planet (Won't be happy if it's not.) But doing that straight away would take away my excuse to rant, plus i can't be bothered to kill everything again atm.

I've only seen him once in game, but you may notice him on in the background on the main game menu. I spent ages on the level where you had to set up turrets. The fact that i didnt know i could use the turrets as weapons didn't help, so i was fighting of hoardes of enemies with my weedy sub machine gun. I seriously loaded my game about 50 times, it was a 'Kill someone and save' type situation. Anyway, i still can't get on to steam . Is it working for everyone else?

It's usually just when the servers go down, it doesn't happen to often, but as far as i know it's impossible to play the game when it does happen. Anyway, atm it's not letting me log on. I had remember my password checked but it doesn't auto log in, it takes me to the login screen, and even if i type in my password it gives me some error. Anyway, i tried Garry's mod around about version 4 but it just took forever to load. Isn't around about version 6 now or summin so i might give it a try. And a Half Life 1 mod would be good. I only got a chance to play Half Life 1 a year ago, and i'd played so many graphically better games that the graphics just gave me a headache.

I've had the game since release and it's amazing, but i've been stuck on one of the last levels for about a month now. It's not that im stuck, it's just the level is so long i can only play it for a while before doing something else ( Probablly playing CS:S ) Anyway, if you havent played it....play it, it is that good. And i've probablly said this before, but if your computer aint good enough to run it, make it good enough .
