PES is already cross-platform. PES6 for the PC is compatible online with the PS2 version. I've never got round to trying it out though. (Since i have both the 360 and PC versions of the game.)

Yeh, 2 Meg is more than enough. Should run perfectly. And pro evo shows you how good your opponents connection is before you start a game with them, so it's easy enough to find a game that runs flawlessly.

I think you can use wireless adapters made by random company's. When i was looking on Amazon a while back alot of the comments mentioned if it was suitable for xbox live or not as far as i can remember. I ended up buying the official adapter for about £60 though for some reason, probably because im an idiot and could afford it at the time. As for the gold package, i think my one year membership card cost about £35, which is well worth it considering how much online gaming adds to the experience. If you want the cheapest way look for wireless adapters on amazon or something, but the membership card should cost £35 regardless. I remember i got xbox live for the exact same reason, beating strangers at pro evo.

I went to see Metallica at Reading Festival, and i went to the toilet before they went on and couldn't be bothered to find my way to them in amongst the thousands when i got back, so i just went down toward the front on my own for the whole set. Ended up having a better time seeing them than i probably would have if i was with my mates, since Metallica are my favourite band and none of my mates were really into them. It was more fun be amongst a load of others singing along etc, so you should enjoy it just as much if it's that type of situation.

You can choose the database when starting a new game, so you can use all the stats etc. from previous patches but i assume the bug fixes from the recent patches are still in place.

You have to ignore shit like that. Worms is all about tactics and always will be. That's the whole appeal of it. It sounds like "Team A" was simply outsmarted and outplayed. Saying that, to be honest, i actually suck at Worms myself, but it's still fun win or lose.

"Pray the gay away" had me laughing for a while. I also agree with butters being the best character.

Just had my second play through online (Tiscali are lame and seem to reduce my connection speed severely, lower than 56k type of severe, at the busier times of day so i can only play online at certain times) and it was equally as fun as the first time. I got to the start of the technodrome once again and died which i'm not happy about, although this time there were 3 of us all the way through so it was a bit harder. I was also taught a trick on the skateboard level. If you stay at the very top of the screen when the helicopters are shooting you should be able to avoid them without getting hit. When the helicopters start dropping bombs they can hit you so it's best to dodge them. And I've come to the conclusion that Donatello is the best.

I stopped playing this game...and i don't know why, because i was actually enjoying it. I want to pick it back up, but it's hard to get back into a game like this unless i start again i suppose.

Oh yeh, i forgot about that, i lost about 5 on that level, and i don't think i actually took out one of those helicopter things at all. It didn't help that a player dropped out the level before when he had the most lives left out of all of us, i guess he didn't like the fact that we weren't very good.
