Age of Empires II. Period. The most kick ass strategy game ever. Played it over LAN with the same friend whose ass I kicked in FM08. 3 Matches so far, won 2 and one was interrupted by a black out. I built three heavily fortified bases and positioned my army on two of the three sides of his base. He leaves to attack me, I wait and then attack from the west. He calls back his army and attacks my army on the West. I wait again and attack east. He gets confused, meanwhile, he cannot create more soldiers cause I destroyed his houses first. My backup army comes and finishes him off. Sucker.

I did the double in my first season as Arsenal in a network game. Won the league with 7 points clear of Chelsea. Liverpool were a comfortable third, with my friend controlled Manchester United just making up the top four. Beat Milan in the CL final, an Adebayor hat-trick getting the job done. I've got Sergio Aguerro coming in, and quite possibly Yaya Toure, though Barcelona are reluctant to sell. Turns out my selling Toure to Milan in January for 36 million wasn't a faux pas after all. Kompany more than made up for it with a brilliant second half of the season. Out: Almunia - 10m to Man City, Eboue 7m to the Arsenal retirement centre down at Fratton Park, Senderos 9m to Zaragoza, i think, and Toure 36m to Milan. In: Kompany 22m, Richards 46m, Sakho 400K. Rejected several lucrative offers including Van Percie 41.5m from Barca, 18m for Denilson from Inter and 22m from Inter for Clichy.

In my Arsenal game, Adebayor is ALWAYS the highest scorer with 30+ goals. Also ends up winning the Player of the Year in December of the first season.

Started a game with TNS. Currently in December, the only defeat came in July in the CL qualifiers 1st round. Beating teams 3-0 for fun. John Toner has scored 27 in 23 appearances, Calliste (Free transfer) has 14 in 18 appearances. Michael Wilde and Ronnie Morgan have 5 and 4 respectively. And those are just the strikers. Also, my defence has only conceded 19 so far. Brought in Ryan Hall AML (Crystal Palace), Leslie Thompson AMR (Bolton), Mills and Riley DC's (Tottenham) and Williamson DL (ManC, i think) on season long loans. Hoping to win at least the league and one more domestic cup, and then moving to the Championship.

So far, I've played only as Redditch (got them promoted to BSP and then relegated back to BSN) then left for Northwhich and got them promoted. Currently in 2011 I was bored so I played as Arsenal for a couple of months then left the game incomplete. Started a new one with two leagues each from Italy, Spain and England. Randomised, and ended up at Napoli. Fired seven months into the job - effing confusing names. Suggest potential new leagues and a challenge. Quick.
