  1. For those interested, from Billy Gould's Twitter: Tickets will be £32.50. Dunno if I can afford that expense. Especially on the Thursday of Download. Doubt my girlfriend would enjoy spending the first part of Download with people she's only met once, lugging my shit around.
  2. Billy Gould now seems unsure about this. The dates have been taken off the FNM site now. Download also advertise their appearance as their only UK show this year. The plot thickens...
  3. Its normal over here. There is usually only 1 or 2 writers writing the whole series, so they can't knock out as many episodes as in the US.
  4. I wish Feeder were a one-hit wonder. Then they would leave me with happy memories of them rather than put out all the pish they have done since Jon Lee's death.

    The Rolling Stones

Nobody's a fan of their post Exile On Main Street stuff. I love the Stones, but I often feel I have to rein my love in a bit as my Aunt is like their number one fan and I find it a bit odd. Gimme Shelter is the best song ever. FACT. What?!? It's only rock and roll? Fool to Cry? Shattered? Beast of Burden? (My Favorite!) Miss You? Emotional Rescue? FUCKING START ME UP!?! EDIT: All of those are after Exile 7 songs out of however many albums there have been released since then isn't really a good batting average is it?

    The Wire

It took me ages to recognise Stringer Bell on sight. First time you see him he's in a suit, wearing glasses. Sometimes he's not wearing glasses, sometimes he's not wearing a suit. Very confusing. ...it probably boils down to my racism though.
  10. You would've thought Heather Mills' divorce settlement with Paul McCartney would have been enough for her not to have to apply to work at Amstrad.
  11. Opeth, Meshuggah and Dir En Grey are all excellent and I want to see them. My friend's cousin is in You Me At Six. It's a shame that they're shit. I could use that claim to fame more often if they were good.

    The Wire

Well, he did show up on Heroes as a man who could create black holes. Did he snitch on all the other black hole creators?

    The Wire

Bubbles was just on Channel 5. He was playing a part of a snitch. Poor man seems to have been typecast.
  14. Still says £160 on DL's website and through their official Ticketmaster link. I bought tickets on wednesday and yeah, with the booking fee and p+p its around £175. It's not as stupid as Hard Rock Calling who charge £4 to email your ticket to you. Grrrr... Worse than flights.
  15. Faith No More- To Be Confirmed. I am not going to this.
  16. They're only doing day tickets this year (but they're only £45 compared to £65 other years) so you could pick up a ticket for Neil Young.
  17. Adding to the Hard Rock Calling dicussion that has been going on in here, it seems that Neil Young will be playing the Saturday. Looks like Michael Eavis has had his thunder well and truly stolen.
  18. I hope they play Download so I can get a day ticket, but it's more likely to be Sonisphere, with the whole European tour thingymajig.
  19. The kids should be in bed when the Superbowl is on. School in the morning. >_>
  20. Glastonbury sold out without a single act being announced.
  21. Not really the acts to attract the younger audience Michael Eavis was whining about not having last year, though is it? Still you're not wrong. Well announce the rest of the bill then, eejit.
  22. It's a tradition in Bollywood films though. And you act like it was awful or something. It's not like it was meant to be anything more than what it was; something to amuse the audience as they leave the theater, etc. Plus Danny Boyle isn't Indian
  23. Anvil are rumoured to be playing. They seemed to be rumoured for every festival including Glastonbury who don't have metal bands. So, meh.
