    W?

I saw a trailer for it when I went to see Righteous Kill.
  3. Who could not like Doctor Pepper? It's so tasty. I hope Slash and Buckethead don't.
  4. Thank god Nickleback didn't get in. Shame that DEP or Boris didn't get in.
  5. That song about liking naked people.
  6. You say your not into punk (despite liking hardcore & post-hardcore punk ) but try The King Blues. Ska-Punk. I'm trying to turn them into the next Reuben or Gaslight Anthem.
  7. Have you ever thought about, y'know, buying music anywhere except supermarkets, which market to 40 year old mothers?
  8. Hell yes. ¬_¬ How many other bands do you know that can build a career on a two minute instrumental? Were they the guys who did the Buffy theme? Them and They Might Be Giant's Malcolm In The Middle Theme has to be a glory time for themes, up with the times of The Raccoons and The Poddington Peas.
  9. Mike Patton & The Melvins. I so want to go to this, but I can't find anyone who has as good as taste as me in music.

    Chris Cornell

... have you even heard any of the album yet? What on earth makes it 'sound shit' when you haven't heard it? What they said.

    Chris Cornell

Sounds shit to me. Hopefully it isn't.

    Catchy music

Just listening to Enema Of The State. Now that album is the pinnacle of what you're looking for.
  13. OK, to start with Meat Loaf has released a boat-load of albums. 10 studio albums & 5 live albums. Also to say that only the charts matter in a thread about Metallica, whose reputation is based on their first 4 albums, which didn't start bothering the charts in the least bit until 'Master Of Puppets' is frankly astonishing. Also the charts don't lie? Try telling that to Slipknot or The Sex Pistols. Nickleback are never going to considered a leading band, because they're music is boring and shite. At best they'll be remembered for having a couple of soft rock songs that for a few weeks people enjoyed, before they saw through the fact that it's just a fucking chorus and rightly resigned it to DFS adverts. Edit: Also the last album to stay in the charts as long as the current Nickleback one is Shania Twain's Come On Over. Brilliant.
  14. So they're good because they're too lazy to write new stuff and despite releasing 7 singles off one album, that still isn't enough to get people to buy the album? Yeah, they're fucking brilliant. >_>
  15. He appears to be saying he wants Kurt Cobain's ghost to murder him, so it would appear like suicide.
  16. You Alter Bridge guys are almost as bad as that Evanescence kid.
  17. He gets payed a wage by Astraeus I believe. You'd think the royaltys and touring money would be enough. I like his radio show. He's so eccentric.
  18. He revels in the whole 'we get the questions beforehand, so I've got ages to come up with something shocking to say for cheap laughs' thing, surely. He hardly lets anyone else have a go in the 'Things you'll never hear' round.
  19. I was talking about the Mortal Kombat movie over last Christmas dinner. I don't think anyone else had any idea what I was going on about.

As reviews seem to be the way to go: Friday Jubilee- S'alright. Went to see them because one of them was in Nine Inch Nails once. Trent seem to have got him into those drugs thingys. Phil Jupitus- Only saw a little bit. He said 'cunt' a lot. Pretty funny. Dizzee Rascal- Shit. Awful sound quality. I've never felt so middle class in my life. Serj Tankian- Pretty good. Only knew the 'hits'. Apparently so did everyone else. Had some sound issues too. Biffy Clyro- Fucking insane. Loads of little kids where left crying from the moshes. Really hurt my knee, which left me having to be selective about who to mosh to from now on. Queens Of The Stone Age- Really, really dull. Pennywise- Thought these would be Less Than Jake. They weren't. They were rubbish. Rage Against The Machine- SO FUCKING AWESOME. Possibly the best thing ever. Didn't play Down Rodeo though Saturday- Lameday The King Blues- Awesome, awesome, awesome. Chants of 'One more song' for ages afterwards. Roadies were booed for removing their equipment. Go buy their album already and their new one in October. Cancer Bats- Didn't have any roadies. What I expected. Flogging Molly- Good fun. Bullet For My Valentine- Awful. Manic Street Preachers- Average. They played Pennyroyal Tea. I've never felt so working class in my life. Sunday- I Have No Idea What Time Bands Are On Day Guy before Henry Rollins (Pork & Beans or something?)- Pretty funny. Had a song about crashing on the M4. Told a story about playing that song then crashing on M4. There was a crash on the M4 this morning >_< Henry Rollins- Funny guy. Fuck Bush & other left wing sloganeering. Dropkick Murphys- Alright. Brought out loads of people I don't know. Mindless Self Indulgence- The guitarist is a funny guy. The singer is quite good during song. Banter is waaaaaayy too scripted. No one was moshing for this. Ruined it, it did. Never felt so old in my life. Feeder- Feeder-like. They played Blew. Tenacious D- Same old schtick they've been peddling for the last 10 years. You've seen one gig of these guys you've seen them all. Change it up guys. Probably the worst band of the weekend. Metallica- SO FUCKING AWESOME. Possibly the best thing ever. Was never a big fan of Metallica until then. Went absoulutely apeshit for So What. I was told Plain White T's were bottled off. Were they?

Slipknot have pulled out Bollocks. They were one of the bands I was most looking forward to.
