The thing is, though, would Patton want to get into major label politics again after the trouble he had with Faith No More's later stuff and now with an indie label like Ipecac on the frontburner for him? It would be awesome, but I honestly see the GnR guys seeing Patton as beneath them, and funnily enough Patton presumably thinking the same thing after the two VR records. Yeah, Patton's already turned them down for what I can imagine him describing them as being 'Glam Rock shit.' My favourite Patton being asked into a band story is the one about INXS.
