  1. Differs game to game. Read the instruction manuals for full details.

    Chinese Democracy

I'm guessing Axl did nothing for years and years, Dr. Pepper offer him a free drink, he then writes and records the whole album in a few weeks. Those previous leaks were his attempt to get Haribo.
  3. I'm quoting this to moan about Ninty's lame ass way of things. Its such a fucking pain to have to enter in a code for every game (admittedly I've only done the Wii console & PES so far, but still annoying) and then have to wait for them to enter your code. Such an annoying time consuming process. Having said that I'll probably getting myself this on Friday. Love meself a little bit of red shelling.
  4. R.E.M.- Shiny Happy People What? I actually like this song, so fuck off.
  5. Playing online games has caused me to lag on occasion.

    One Hit Wonders

We could throw in Nirvana. Smells Like Teen Spirit is their only song that gets played on 'mainstream MTV culture.' But that would be stupid, wouldn't it?
  8. I'm surprised they didn't bring up the fact that the ginger (Jenny?) was a massive bully and shouldn't be allowed to work with anyone.

    One Hit Wonders

Thin Lizzy have The Boys are Back in Town and Whisky in the Jar. So I can't see them having a claim in these shenanigans either.

    One Hit Wonders

Dunno if its been mentioned yet, but I ain't trawling through 6 pages of arguments about whether Van Halen are a one hit wonder or not (they're not), but... Norman Greenbaum- Spirit in the Sky Doctor & the Medics- Spirit in the Sky and while I'm here may as well throw in... Gareth Gates- Spirit in the Sky

What are the HMVs that are selling the tickets?
  13. For whoever is doing the broader religious playlist thing: Jesus Built My Hotrod- Ministry.
  14. Well, Richard Branson sold it, presumably to a company named Zaavi. First: Eminem- The Slim Shady LP Last: Led Zeppelin- Led Zeppelin IV (or whatever its actually called)
  15. Led Zeppelin rule this thread.
  16. The thing is, though, would Patton want to get into major label politics again after the trouble he had with Faith No More's later stuff and now with an indie label like Ipecac on the frontburner for him? It would be awesome, but I honestly see the GnR guys seeing Patton as beneath them, and funnily enough Patton presumably thinking the same thing after the two VR records. Yeah, Patton's already turned them down for what I can imagine him describing them as being 'Glam Rock shit.' My favourite Patton being asked into a band story is the one about INXS. He agreed as long as he could always wear a noose. They weren't down with that. Guess they found it insensitive.
  17. The only person who I've heard expressly name Motorhead as an influence would be Dave Grohl.
  18. Hey Ya- OutKast, is the correct answer.
  19. 1. The Beatles 2. David Bowie 3. Ray Charles 4. The Kinks 5. The Sex Pistols 6. Black Sabbath 7. R.E.M. 8. Grandmaster Flash 9. Lead Belly 10. Lonnie Donnegan That was ridculously hard. Such a difficult thing to judge.
  20. The Gutter Twins, which has the singer from Screaming Trees in them, have released an album within the week. Saturnalia or something.
  21. Woah, woah, woah. Hold up. You seem more excited about meeting Scroobius Pip than Billy Bragg. Priorities my man.

    The Remix Thread

Never Went to Church- The Guillemots (The Streets) So much better and more emotional than Mike Skinner's version.
