  1. Well, it's 0-14 in the 1st with like 3 1/2 minutes left, so..I'm sorry.
  2. Big D and the Kids Table - Scenester (not really poking fun at a genre or the industry, but certain fans)
  3. May 20th Sonic Boom Six w/ Big D & The Kids Table, Random Head Academy 2 - Newcastle Have fun. If you've never seen Big D before you're in for a treat. If you have, then I guess you know what you're in for. I've seen them like 7 or 8 times and it has never been anything less than spectacular. From really small clubs to some larger venues, they always deliver.
  4. The Menzingers-A Lesson in the Abuse of Information Technology http://www.gokartrecords.com/__MENZINGERSSTREAM__/index.html
  5. STP by Sublime Jailhouse by Sublime I Saw Her Standing There by The Beatles
  6. The Beatles - Magical Mystery Tour (6/10) It's not a bad album, but for a Beatles record with Penny Lane, All You Need is Love, Strawberry Fiels and Hello Goodbye it's a shame I don't want to listen to it more. I guess it's just that everything else on the CD really sounds like shit to me (The Fool on the Hill being the only exception.).
  7. What is the punk/ska/hardcore/anything scene like in Georgia (particularly the Atlanta area.)? I'm moving on Saturday and around here there's a pretty damn good scene, being so close to Boston, NYC, Jersey, DC, Philly and whatnot. So if anyone has some info, let me know.

    Gamefly?

Does anyone have it? And is it worth it?
  9. Just me fucking around with all the different brushes and shit. I liked some of them and thought they would fit well in a graphic for my friends band. I've only been using PSP and making graphics for a few days, by the way. I've skimmed a few tutorials but for the most part it's just my cluserfuck. edit: fixed typos.
  10. 1. A People's History of the United States - Howard Zinn 2. The Picture of Dorian Gray - Oscar Wilde 3. The Family - Mario Puzo 4. American Psycho - Brett Easton Ellis 5. All Quiet on the Western Front - Erich Marie Remarque (I probably butchered his name) 6. 1984 - George Orwell 7. The Iron Heel - Jack London 8. Fool's Die - Mario Puzo 9. Failed States - Noam Chomsky 10. Catch-22 - Joseph Heller Yeah, twoPuzo works and I've not even read the Godfather. Hell, I've never seen the movies, either.

    The Borat Movie

How about this for numbers ... Domestic Total as of Nov. 9, 2006: $38,841,865 Worldwide: $59,710,409 Sure doesn't seem all that spectacular. Pretty damn good for most movies, but insane when you consider it only opened in 837 American theatres. I think this is one of the most impressive: TOP WEEKEND THEATER AVERAGES 1982-Present $31,607 3rd Ahead of all Harry Potter releases, X-Men movies, and all Star Wars after 82. Out of the top 25 listed only Farenheit 9/11 opened in less than 1,000 theatres nation-wide. I'm sure no one had any idea Borat would sell this well. But anyway, I thought the movie was amazing. Probably one of the funniest I have ever seen and surely the "ballsiest". I would reccomend it to anyone.
  12. Pepper - No Shame Sadly, I hadn't heard of these three guys until this album came out. But, better late than never. A very nice mix of styles. Check it out if you're into: Sublime, Slightly Stoopid, 311, No Doubt Top Tracks: "No Control", "Green Hell", "Lost in America", "Nice Time"
  13. I agree, too. Graves was my favorite Misfits singer. I saw him live once in 2002. Very good. I was supposed to see him last December but I went to jail and missed the show. If you're a fan you'll be pumped just for the experience.

    Punk.

The Code Bouncing Souls The Ratchets (might be hard to find. but a search on myspace will work. you dont need an account) Michale Graves (has a new album. sounds like some of his misfits stuff. "Punk Rock is Dead") The Dead Milkmen World Inferno/Friendship Society Blanks 77 Almost anything else worth listening to has been mentioned. If you like a little emo you should check out Bayside. They're awesome. For a little more traditional hardcore check out Label the Traitor. Big D and the Kids Table are worth checking out no matter what type of music you like. Just do it.

    The Office

I haven't seen the UK versions. But I'd probably be a little biased to the Scranton version. Is it a paper company they work for in Slough?

    The Office

The Office is amazing. I guess it's moving to Thursday now. I actually live in the Scranton where the Office is based in. :-D As much as I love the Office I think My Name is Earl is better.
  17. Michael Robinson running the option will come bring around 70 yards on the ground just for him. I really don't see Florida State doing much of anything with the ball. The only problem I see if that we're playing in Florida so it's almost like a home game for FSU. But PSU should handle themselves very nicely. And I think USC v. Texas will just a straight-up shootout. But it's gonna come down to defense. Whoever can stop the other team from scoring that one touchdown is gonna come away with the National Championship. I think USC is better on defense than Texas. But Texas has been putting up points like no other team has this season. USC will step it up and take it, though. Those are really the only two games I'm interested in, honestly. I can not stand the whole BCS and their computers. And I think having so many bowl games make some of the bigger ones look bad. But oh well. It probably won't change.
  18. I remember seeing an episode with this crazy Chinese (I'm assuming) kid. He was gonna kill himself or his father. Something. Anyway, he tried to get out of the house and they tazered him. He flipped out and then calmed down a bit. As soon as he gets calm he flips out again. It was really funny.
  19. Yeah. Dillinger Escape Plan are fucking insane. Definately the best hardcore band I've ever seen.
  20. God you're lucky. I'd kill to see Catch 22. They wouldn't dare come here though. Streetlight came around and I think the whole valley almost came toppling down. So fucking many kids showed up. I'm sure there'd be nothing left if Catch came to town.
  21. Mmmm. The Hokies put a hurtin' on Boston College. 8-0. Looks like they'll be the team getting screwed by the BCS this year. Would be nice to see a team other than USC in the title game. Not gonna happen, though.
  22. Thanks for the picture. That is awesome. And the concert sounded unreal.
