  1. Mmmm. Joe Pa get's 350 wins. And we score 63 points. Really weird considering Paterno is known for not liking to run up the score.
  2. Curtis Enos. Penn State runningback. Got drafted by the Bears. I don't think he even got to play a game but he was great in college. That one just really sticks with me.
  3. Mighigan almost made me cry last week. We were so damn close. We'll be back this week against Illinois. No problem.
  4. K. I'll e-mail you sometime with some more info once I've got everything together. Do you have AIM? If so, my screen name is curmudg3on.
  5. So, I'm going to be doing an ECW 96, 97 or 98 diary soon. I've had some success (if you can call it that) with other diaries on other boards in the past. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone was interested in maybe making some graphics for shows and banners. (for example, if I was doing Heatwave and I had Tommy Dreamer and Sandman headlining, you could do a graphic with the Heatwave logo, the wrestlers. Just like a poster with the time, place, etc.) I'll credit the artist in the diary and in my signature. Thanks in advance.
  6. Had a really bad week. Fell behind to 8th! I'm coming back strong this week. though. Edit: Yeah. Fuck me. I forgot to do Week 6 and then waited too long and missed the damn deadline for week 7. Fuck. I'll keep going, though. :-\
  7. big game tomorrow. PSU versus OSU. State College. go Nittany Lions!!!~!~!
  8. Lounge Act by Nirvana is my favorite song of all time. Hands down. I'm not really as into Nirvana as I once was. But god damnit I love this song so much. 5. The White Stripes 4. De Stijil 3. White Blood Cells 2. Get Behind Me Satan 1. Elephant Elephant is one of my favorite albums ever. It's just awesome. White Blood Cells has some great songs, too.
  10. Mmm. First place after Week One. :-D A few big surprises screwed me over. But I didn't do too bad. (Curmudg3on)
  11. Beatlemania, baby! I've seen them every year for like, 8 years running. They're awesome. I've actually never even heard any other Beatles cover band.
  12. Yeah saw that on Sportscenter this morning.
  13. Not sure if all the predictions for the whole year should go into one thread. Oakland at New England Chicago at Washington Cincinnati at Cleveland Denver at Miami Houston at Buffalo New Orleans at Carolina N.Y. Jets at Kansas City Seattle at Jacksonville Tampa Bay at Minnesota Tennessee at Pittsburgh Arizona at N.Y. Giants Dallas at San Diego Green Bay at Detroit St. Louis at San Francisco Indianapolis at Baltimore Philadelphia at Atlanta Indy v. Baltimore looks like a Game of the week. And is on ESPN. Philly v. Atlanta also looks good for a Monday Night Opener. No real upsets to kick off the year. Have fun predicting and watching the games this week. Edit: Changed Miami prediction.
  14. NFC East 1. Eagles 2. Giants 3. Redskins 4. Cowboys NFC North 1. Packers 2. Vikings 3. Lions 4. Bears NFC South 1. Falcons 2. Panthers 3. Saints 4. Buccaneers NFC West 1. Seahawks 2. Rams 3. Cardinals 4. 49ers AFC East 1. Patriots 2. Bills 3. Jets 4. Dolphins AFC North 1. Steelers 2. Ravens 3. Bengals 4. Browns AFC South 1. Colts 2. Jaguars 3. Texans 4. Titans AFC West 1. Chargers 2. Raiders 3. Chiefs 4. Broncos The northern most AFC teams are looking the best to me this year. NFC Champions Tie: Eagles or Packers. I know, the Packers just sound like such a long shot. But I have a lot of faith in Favre. He seems incredibly focused this year. Walker is, in my opinion, the best receiver besides Owens in the NFC now that Moss is gone to the Raiders. AFC Champions Patriots. Not even worth explaining. Tom Brady is incredible. That whole team is just amazing.
  15. Main Stage My Chemical Romance (Co-Headlining) The Offspring (Co-Headlining) Finch The Bouncing Souls Anti-Flag 311 (maybe co-headline the sak stage. but they're not quite ska at all) Pennywise The Code Strike Anywhere Ska Stage! 16. Got the e-mail too. I hope they get the lease renewed. But if they don't I can definately see them relocating. Would be nice if they moved to Philly. :-D But I could really see them going to some other part of New York or maybe L.A?
  17. When I was really young I only watched Charles Bronson films. I absolutely LOVED that shit. Don't know why. But anything else would make me fall asleep. :-\
  18. That's the best picture of Gary Busey I've ever seen!
  19. The new 311 cd comes out tomorrow. Maybe you'll like that? Finch has a new album. And very good new single. Dropkick Murphy's and Pennywise both just released albums (DM last month, I believe?) I heard the new Foo Fighters is good, also. CKY - An Answer Can Be Found
  20. Finch are pretty good. You might like them if you don't already know em'. They have a new album "Say Hello To Sunshine" which is pretty good. Their new single is "Bitemarks and Bloodstains". (http://www.bandbuilder.com/finch/player.php) Something Corporate are a little emo-ish, but they're not too bad. You might like them. Buy the new Breaking Ben. And the old one if you don't have them already. They were on the Halo 2 soundtrack also with a track called "Blow Me Away"
  21. How many have heard the new 311 track "Don't Tread On Me"? I just got to listening to it yesterday and I think it's great. I'm definately buying the album on the 16th. Anyone else have any opinions on the new track or how the new album might be?
  22. Heard it on the radio last night. I made the mistake of leaving it on, because I was curious what all the fuss was about. Then I found out. :-(
  23. Nicholas Cage or Steve Martin. Couldn't sit for 24 hours straight just watching any actors other than them. Maybe Adam Sandler, though.
