  1. Booker should be ticked for J-Dawg; he's running his own promotion now (SECW). ICW's Dash Maverick and Skorpio aren't in the save but if you ever add them I'd give J-Dawg dislike of both of them as they seem to be having heat about ICW (Which is booked by Dash and Skorpio) booking in 'his arena' (Source: The man himself) J-Dawg is still wrestling, so I wouldn't put him in staff. If you wanted to, here's some stats.. Name: Jeff Brooks Position: Owner Contract: None Preference: None Talent: 40 (He only started in January but his father is Rusty Brooks and from talking to him he seems to know what he's doing) Backstage and Booker ticked Wage: $0
  2. To be fair though, that Spetsnaz guy (Sonny, I forget his last name) is the kind of badass you usually only see in movies. Out of every 'expert' in the show, he's the guy who really makes me think "Man I would not want to piss that guy off".
  3. Nelson crushing Mir sounds good to me. So, prediction on Machida/Rua: Machida by fourth round TKO. Rua will still be doing well but Machida will have adapted his gameplan to counter Rua and make him hesitate for just long enough for Machida to give him some chin music.
  4. ^I've heard about finishes like that. I can't wait to get this game myself, I think I'll spend a lot of my early runs killing bitches with Machida.
  5. If anything, the ballista showed the difference between Alexander the Great's weapons and Attila's. Alexander the Great's weapons were killers, but were much more flashy than practical in mass combat. Attila's weapons weren't fancy but got the job done, and could kill more rapidly and precisely than Alexander's.
  6. See, that's what I originally thought. So why don't they say "Get exclusive bonus fighters" instead of "Unlocking"? Because "Unlocking" implies that they're already in the game....
  7. So, according to the GameStop commercials, you 'unlock' the TUF10 finalists with a pre-order. Does this mean you could normally get them in-game? Or are they special DLC like initially thought?
  8. This would be Angel Rose: http://www.myspace.com/darkenangel26 Probably one I added myself and based stats, etc off of workers she had faced. I tend to add workers in groups, so she could have been grouped in with the workers around her. As always, feel free to suggest changes. Yeah, I'd give her speed 60, brawl 30, tech 35, charisma 60 over 10 (She always gets a big reaction, one of the most popular people in ICW, but I don't consider ICW a big promotion by any means so 10 works). Finishers: Code Red (Impact), Swanton Bomb (Top Rope). Underdog works because she's usually up against bigger performers (Calypso is ICW's other female regular, and she's probably 260+), and against male competitors too. Wage is fine, because I don't think ICW even pays their workers. Tick Fonz Factor, High Spots and Diva too.
  9. Probably because they had four in UFC2009 as well. Why did they in 2009? Fuck if I know. But they did.
  10. If Scoot Andrews shows up at the local indy show here, I'll guesstimate his stats based on his performance. It IS a charity show, so maybe? Also, Big Daddy Gonzo's charisma should be 60. He's a good talker and can get the crowd against him as a heel. I still wonder if Angel Rose is supposed to be the Angel Rose that works the Miami circuit or not. Anyone know if might be someone else? Age and wages fit for her, and her gimmick to an extent, but the stats and finishers are all wrong.
  11. Right leg hospital, left leg cemetery. Cough. I know about the quote, but his left leg roundhouse is practically as close to a pro wrestling finisher that you can get in MMA. It should be the primary, and not bunched in with the right leg either. It'd be like having Ali in the game and calling his primary finisher "Float like a butterfly".
  12. Also, the Left Leg Roundhouse should definately be his main finisher. He's also won fights by kicks to the liver, so Liver Kick would be good as a secondary.
  13. Also, a spear hitting Samurai armor would ruin the spearhead and at best chip the paint of the armor, and that's with an ideal clean blow with a charging opponent. So even IF they landed, they'd likely lose their weapon and have a POed Samurai still standing. Also when comparing sheer strength of their blows, as the Vikings are using sheilds their main weapon is being held one-handed. And unless the viking is facing Miyamoto Musashi, the samurai would likely be using his weapons with both hands. What this means is more power behind the Samurai's blows. And if it IS Musashi, well, Musashi beat other samurai to death with wooden swords, he'd slaughter a viking.
  14. First of all you should get your facts straight. Not all Vikings were berzerkers, only few who had seen too many battles, got too many knocks on the head and ate too many mushrooms. The average Vikings usually fought in a rather disciplined shield wall, one-on-one fighting was rare. As for the scaring and intimidating their victims, well, scared people are easy to conquer. And how samurai hits viking 3 to 4 times through a f'n sturdy round shield? If he tried he just gets stabbed in the gut with a spear/sword. The kanabo wouldn't entirely break the sheild, but it would break the Viking's arm. I don't care how tough you are, if you have a broken arm, you're not going to be able to do anything with it especially with a heavy sheild strapped to it. Can't lift your arm, can't block with your sheild. And don't try to tell me the arm would not have been injured with a 400+ psi blow to it. Also, Samurai were well armored, not to mention would have the tactical profeciency to be prepared for a counterattack. Also, as I said before, if Viking/Samurai had ever happened, it would have been with a scurvy-ridden Viking against a healthy samurai. Also, I have Atilla the Hun winning this next one. Alexander the Great was a tactician, Atilla was in the frontlines.
  15. NOT A THREAT MY ASS. They should be replaying the Family Guy episodes on their website IMO, instead of Scrotie. More appropriate given the circumstances...
  16. Brilliance. That's what you watched.
  17. Re above spoiler: I love the gun demos myself, but I can see why some people would find it boring.... TBH my favorite season one ep was Spetsnaz vs Green Beret.
  18. Am I the only one who thinks Sun Tzu vs Vlad is a stupid idea? Nobody's even sure who Sun Tzu was other than the author of Art of War. We don't know if it was one person or several who wrote it. Vlad was a soldier but was more famous (or infamous depending on your view) as a very cruel administrative leader. Unless it's a tactical duel with mass armies fighting, I don't see how this can be a logical battle.
  19. This isn't for one specific song at all... but man, nothing ruins a song for me more than radio-friendly editing. Even if they only mute the vocal track, or replace the original word with something else.
  20. Damn... was never a big fan of the band but that still sucks ass... RIP...
  21. Okay, granted on attitude. But behavior, the Rob Feinstein comment was completely out of the blue... agree that he deserves it but... okay, it'd be the equivalent of Barack Obama saying "...and Hitler can go f--- himself!" at the end of the State of the Union. ...well, looking at the DoI site, RF video is apparently a sponsor, so I guess it'd be closer to Brock Lesnar's "...and I'm going to drink a COORS LIGHT" speech... And the attack on DoI was because they reported he works for free. Think about that for a moment. What can possibly be negative about that? More appropriately, what can be negative enough to call them up and yell at them for it? Also, Cornette's been known to shoot his mouth off against other people he's worked for (but never when he's under their employ). Not exactly deserving of a friggin 92 that's for sure... 60, maybe.
  22. Wow. Let's give Cornette a SEVERE Attitude and Behavior drop for that... like, all the way down to the teens...
  23. Speaking of Otunga, is his crappy spinebuster actually called "Verdict"? If not his finisher should be Spinebuster, because they don't call it "Verdict" in NXT. I usually associate "Verdict" with Lesnar's finisher hence my confusion.
