Probably the best place for this but we lost Wayne Kramer and Mojo Nixon this week.
  2. Commenting to put a pin here so to speak. Just wanted to say I have been reading your posts @Gabriel I'm just lazy. I'll respond in depth soon. I've also dabbled with trying bluegrass/country. You can really take a simple approach with it and use a standard 12 bar blues. I made a song with acoustic guitar, a shaker, drums, and tambourine. I can post it if you want. Its a three chord song, easy shit right. Country is great because you can keep it very simple as long as you have a good voice.
  3. The Lions hired the Titans former DLine coach. Sounds like he's a good one? I dont know, forgive me if I'm not hip to the AFC Souths position coaches. Either way, the fan reaction from our base and the Titans seems positive about him. And good, our dline was sort of awful but propped up by Hutch and McNeil. I think its fair to say the talent beyond those two was mediocre at best but also a coaching change isn't a bad idea. Cook Brad Cook.
  4. Ha ha stupid idiots. He can be frustrating with his playcalling but this is good. Consistency is good, also allows another year to groom somebody. Unfisinhed business for Ben.
  5. Not that I think Fields is a great QB, but him leaving the NFC North is ok by me. He scares me.
  6. Honestly the legends are the biggest appeal to me for these games. I want all of them in.
  7. Dont be? I'm happy today. We're three years removed from the football terrorism of Bob Quinn and Matt Patricia. Holmes has built a nice squad, we're gonna be back. Capable GM, young core, and a coach people would run through a wall for.
  8. Oh well. I honestly think I'm less upset than people that aren't Lions fans that were rooting for us. Team is still young and improving, this is just the beginning.
  9. Welp I took a nap and recorded the game. Just finished the first half, cant wait to see what the second half is like!
  10. This fucking rules. On to San Fran.
  11. My nostalgia is for Sports Illustrated for Kids in the 90s. I loved that shit.
  12. Playoffs have been falling in Detroits favor so far. Hoping we can beat the Bucs one more time, and can't believe I'd say this but hope for the Packers victory to continue our home field advantage. So this is what its like to actually still be relevant in January. I like it.
  13. His post game speeches are the best. After our 5th win on the year he pulled out a five dollar bill and says "I think that's a 5!". Yeah he's a great guy, and I admit I was skeptical about the hire. Still buzzing a bit here (buzzing with excitement, not the other kind).
  14. Yeah, and if Green Bay can knock off San Fran somehow we may even have a real path to the Super Bowl. BUT I don't want to get ahead of myself. Proud of this fucking team, so happy it's this group to finally break through because they're such a cool team. It is amazing how Brad Holmes has constructed such a solid roster through the draft. Definitely gives me confidence for the future of this team because we're still very young, most of those contributors are Holmes picks. Thrilled, we earned this. Great fucking week of football for people in the state of Michigan, the best we've ever had if we're being honest. Fuck I need to go throw up, shit, and have a heart attack.
  15. Root for the Lions, Stafford already got his ring. He's a nice guy but I hope the Lions stomp a mudhole in his ass and walk it dry. Then shake hands after.
  16. https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/39294498/deboer-alabama-replace-saban-head-coach Yep.
  17. Well this rules. Man, we haven't had shit in this state for titles over the last decade plus, so I'm gonna fucking lap this up. This feels good. Even if it is vacated in ten years due to Harbaugh being a shady dude.
  18. Ben Johnson sucks, nobody wants that bum. Yeah, that'll do.
  19. I mean, shit happens. We don't have a ton of tight ends, so even with resting starters or veterans, LaPorta probably was playing anyway.
  20. Agreed, also seen too many blown leads for the Lions that I'm out for blood until the clock strikes 0.
  21. So, it's not terrible. Low expectations maybe but we had with the death match. Didn't pay a lot so it's all gravy but gameplay is fun enough.
  22. Well holy fuck. The Lions are division champions. I'm 38, so while I was alive for the last one, it wasn't until 94 or so that I started watching every game. This is so cool, I love this team. They're such a cool group of guys and Dan Campbell is loveable.
  23. Some dude on reddit bet his life savings on the Pistons snapping their streak yesterday. Oof. I don't know who they could beat at this point.
