So my son really wants a Nintendo DS. I thought they were hard to find and expensive. Actually not the case, like 120? Is there anything I'd need to know about those? Still making gameds? Are there different models? I know he wants some of the mario games not on Switch.

My son watched the FNAF movie last night and loved it. I wasn't really paying attention. I did show the kids EVIL Dead 2 and Army of Darkness which they loved. Who doesn't love Ash?

I have to say I'm pretty encouraged after the Pistons first two games. The group of Duren, Stewart, Thompson, Hayes, and Cunningham could be a nice little defensive unit. Thompson has been impressive so far, not scoring a ton but getting rebounds, playing good defense, and being a good facilitator on offense has me optimistic. Hell, Monte even seems to have Marvin Bagley giving some effort on defense. If that dude can even be competent on defense he'll be a real nice bench piece.

We have no answer for running QBs and this has been a problem for years.

The Ravens seem to always be good, and I think Lamars running ability could be a difference maker. We need Gibbs back because Momtgomery is going to be out a few weeks it looks like. I think we're damn good and a loss to the Ravens won't change that, but a win and I might start believing we're playing for home field advantage in the playoffs.

No hyperbole, this is the best Lions team I've seen. I had a good feeling we might finally be heading in the right direction when Holmes took Sewell in 2021. I think my feelings have been vindicated. The Lions are winning physical football games and setting the tone. We're playing complimentary (get the fuck over me saying "We") football and doing so with some style. I've never seen a coaching staff like we have now in Detroit. We coach aggressively, we coach creatively, and we put our players in spots to best utilize their skillsets. Contrast that to the undisciplined Schwartz teams, the vanilla as fuck Caldwell coaching, and whatever the fuck Patricia was (horrible coach that also alienated his entire team)? We didn't blow Tampa Bay out but we outplayed them from beginning to end. It was a good tough match up, the Bucs have a tough D. We have had plenty of injuries as well but our depth is stepping up. Holmes is cooking and building something here.

Officer Chavis by the way is a cousin of Chris "Tatanka" Chavis.

I kind of like them, not sure if you've ever heard them. Kind of an acquired taste in that there Dancy and electronic, bit fucking heavy industrial stuff. It's kind of absurd and over the top but fun. Speaking of...we bought tickets for Ministry, Gary Numan, and Front Line Assembly. I'm pretty excited because I've actually never been to a show like this (heavy on synth and electronic stuff). I'm mostly excited for Gary Numan but I really like Ministry and Front Line Assembly is cool. Plus we got literal seats instead of General Admission. Hate to say but my old butt is going to spring a little extra for comfort when possible. Also its in a cool venue so that's always nice.

Could be that the belt in it is bad. Turntables are direct or belt driven. Sometimes when the belt goes bad you run into these sorta problems.

I'm very tired. God I love beating the Packers. The Bears and Vikings are rivals, but the Packers are enemies. I'm still annoyed that they allowed them to throw a pass with 00 on the clock to end the third. That was David Montgomerys first victory over Green Bay.
