  1. Hannibal season 3...

Is anyone else finding this season a bit underwhelming? The story hasn't been particularly enthralling and the constantly dull/dark pallette just feels like a really forced attempt at being maccabre in a show that doesn't need more of it.

Agreed. The first 3 episodes were tedious to sit through and might as well could've been skipped. I would liked it more if they started the season with the latest episod which has been really entertaining.

  2. Regarding the lates Hannibal episode

This is the first time I'm enjoying a Hannibal episode since it's return. Why couldn't this have been the return episode for this season? Why did I have to suffer through 3 episodes of boring dialogue and artistic douchebaggery to get here?

So Chillton is still alive? I didn't expect that. Not at all. They never mentioned it in Season 2 if my memory serves me right. You'd think that it would be an important detail. I love how he is going around trying to get everyone to do his dirty work for him. It is exactely the thing he would do. Makes me kinda happy that they didn't decide to write him out of the shows. And he is hunting down Lecter as well. I'm interested to see where this leads.

I mean, I know where it leads if they don't change the plot from Red Dragon too much: It'll lead too Hannibal back in Chilton's asylum with the set-up we all know and love from "Silence..." and "Red Dragon". But I'm interested to see how they get there.

Unfortunately I also know that in order to get there we'll have to get to Japan first and include more elements from "Hannibal Rising" (I wish everyone would just ignore that book and film and pretend like both of them never happened) which will put a damper on my enjoyment.

And Mason Verger seems to be working together with Dr. Bloom. Another nice twist. I was kinda sad at first when they announced the re-casting of Mason Verger because Michael Pitt was soooo perfect in that role. But that Joe Anderson guy is doing a good job as well.

  3. Couldn't disagree more. Maybe that is because I also really don't care about the Gillian Anderson character and her relationship with Hannibal. All these stupid hallucination/imagination scense with Will and Hannibal and this talk about his memory palace also bores me to tears. Get on with it already.

  4. The new Hannibal episodes have been tedious and plodding so far. I'm not enjoying it at all. They're also drawing inspiration from the two bad books of the series so I don't really care about the stuff that is happening right now. I wish that they would skip over all this crap and just get to the "Red Dragon" portion of this season already.

  5. Spoilers regarding the middle and the end of the episode

First of all: Fuck Stannis. Fuck him and his red witch cunt and his cunt wife and everyone in his camp. Fuck them all. Last episode I was mad because I thought that the battle at Hardhome meant that we probably won't get the battle of Winterfell this seasons. Now I honestly don't give a fuck about that anymore. I sincerely hope that Stannis, his witch and his wife get massacred by Ramsay. Like Meacon I don't have a dog in this fight anymore.

And am I wrong or has everyone but Tyrion now been infected with Grey Scale? I mean Dany toucghed Jorah's Hand, Missandei held hands with Dany, Dario was holding Dany's arm while Jorah was also holding her arm trying to guide her. And now that I think of it why shouldn't Tyrion be affected? Yes, Jorah didn't directly touch his skin but wasn't Sharleen infected by a contaminated plushie? So everyone should have grey scale now.

And as much as I like Jorah he is a cunt for not telling anyone. He is more concerned about his own lust for Dany than with Dany's well being itself. Because you can't tell me that Jorah doesn't know how grey scale works.

And who are the Sons Of The Harpy? I thought they were aligned with the masters? Or are these different Sons Of The Harpy? Maybe they are slaves who are doning the masks now because they're unhappy with the pits being reopened?

But most important of all: FUCK STANNIS!

  6. Helloween - My God Given Right

I LOVE that kind of cheesy video. Reminds me of why I like this band sooo much.

Armored Saint - Win Hands Down

James Hetfield once asked their singer John Bush (who also fronted Anthrax during the 90s and early 00s) to sing for Metallica after "Kill 'Em All" was released. Could you imagine how awesome that would have been?

  7. About what Whisper posted

That seems to be a really stupid theory. I mean judging from the Tywinn I got to know on the show I wouldn't put it beyond his wife to seek love elsewhere as he is a very cold, calculating man but I don't know if he always was like that or if the death of his wife made him bitter. But either way I think if there was any doubt about Tyrion being his legitimate son on Tywinn's mind Tyrion would've died a long time ago. No way that he would let the bastard that "killed" his wife during labour live.

  8. I was just watching the first episode again....and I've decided that we need a 'Robert's Rebellion' mini series. I want to see Ned, Rob and Jon take down the Mad King.

So much this. I'd be way into a prequel series.

Didn't they film a flashback scene about the execution of Rickard and Brandon Stark that was never used? I know it isn't much but I read about it on one of those Wikia sites.

  9. Spoilers about Episode 8

Am I the only one who doesn't really care about the White Walkers right know and would much rather see more of the stuff that is happening in the south? That battle was crazy and I know that the long night and the fight against the Walkers is probably going to be the endgame of the series. But seeing as how slow that plot has progressed so far it'll probably take them another 2 or 3 seasons until winter finally comes and we get it's conclusion (probably as well as the conclusion of this show). I wouldn't be surprised if this is the last we see of the Walkers for this season. So to me that whole 20 minutes or so they spent on the battle felt wasted in a sense. This season it feels like some of the other stories get barley enought time to be properly told as it is. So I'd much rather see them use the 20 or so minutes they used for this fight for driiving forward the story in Dorne and flesh out those characters more (and they are in desperate need of more fleshing out) instead of using it for a story whose conclusion won't be happening for at least another few years if that makes any sense.

  10. So they'll save it for the finale? I want to see the Boltons (or at the very least Ramsay) die this season! And what's so fun about the fighting pits? The scene that took place there last episode was rather unspectacular until the ending when Jorah and Tyrion got involved.

I WANT TO SEE HOW STANNIS OBLITERATE THE BOLTONS! :crying:

  11. It's genius and I want more. Cage is the modern day Indiana. But instead of stopping nazis he's kidnapping and stealing parts of America. Then rubbing lemon juice on shit.

I wonder why they never made more given Hollywood's penchant to milk franchises for all that they're worth. Was the 2nd one that unsuccessful at the box office?

  12. And Jackie Chan! Even his most terrible ones are lovely!

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D0z0NRrbdvQ

I LOVE that movie! I usually don't Jackie Chan films but I sumbled upon this gem when I was switching Channels and immediately fell in love with it. This is even one of the cases where I say the German dub is better than the original.

Another one I'm into but everyone else seems to dislike is Butterfly Effect.
