There just isn't any point in this homegrown rule is there? Arsenal still haven't named any over 21 English players in their 25 man squad, but still have enough "home grown" players because of the "3 seasons before you are 21" rule, and yet Matt Derbyshire, Birmingham's new striker (born in Blackburn and eligable for the England squad) doesn't count. Wasn't the home grown thing meant to be so teams would build up young English players instead of bringing in young foreigners so that the England squad can get stronger over the years?

So has anybody give the album a listen since it leaked? The Diamond Church Street Choir, Boxer and The Spirit of Jazz are my favourites from the album so far, although I find the whole album to be a very good listen. Wonderful lyrics as always.

I like it, it's quite a nice sound, although i do still enjoy the old 50's inspired style.

No, he's a dumbass because he's implying people who supported it are stupid, and gain nothing, when theres actually a free gig in the works, and the money made is being given to charity. The only problem with this is the reports were saying they were giving it all to charity, and now they are saying they are giving a portion. If that's true then i'm annoyed by the fact they took it from a charity single to 'let's make some money out of this'. Of course you never know with reporters, so they may of said it was a portion all along.

Well thank God that's over, now everyone can go back to listening to their own music and stop caring about the charts.

But I've also heard rumours that Lady Gaga has actually took the number one spot, which would be rather hilarious if true.

But manufactured bands have had Christmas Number One's for a while. The only difference now is they have a 12 week promotion. And I rather liked 'Mad World' even if it was slightly depressing for Christmas.

There's a portion of this "let's get rage to number one" group because they apparently hate that ever since Xfactor and the like started the christmas number one has just been manufactured rubbish, almost as if it didn't happen before anyway.

Eurgh, this whole thing just annoys me. I keep getting group requests from people that don't give a shit about the charts at any other time, telling me to buy the rage single. Although, i do like the slight irony in everyone being told to buy a single that says 'fuck you, I won't do what you tell me'. If i was going to buy a single to reach the christmas number one it would either be an actual Christmas song, or The Muppett's version of Bohemian Rhapsody, just because it's a more entertaining song than Killing In The Name Of.

To be honest I can see us winning against Everton, they aren't exactly on the best form, though I would be happy with a point. Chelsea on Boxing day is the really hard game, and i'll be happy if we take anything away from it.

I was expecting us at this point in the season to be bouncing in and out of the relegation zone, but instead we are above both Liverpool and Man City (although they have games in hand) and we're only 10 points behind Chelsea and Man U. I only just saw this, and as I cannot be bothered with writing a lot I just want to say I like how high Tom Waits and Frank Turner are, and I dislike the fact that Lady GaGa is higher than The Boss.

People had Valuev up purely because he was always pushing forward, but that was expected, Haye could not have stood toe to toe with him. The look on Valuev's face after they announced the winner was priceless, he couldn't quite believe it.
