So I got bored of playing the English and Welsh leagues and wanted a challenge. I started unemployed, and have taken over the South African Blackburn team, currently bottom South African divison one coastal. After 16 games they have 1 point, have scored only 3 goals and have a goal difference of -53, this should be interesting.

So apparently McLeish is going to be unveiled as the new Villa manager within the next 24 hours.

About the controller, I just found this on IGN with them talking about it:

I thought that too. I wouldn't be all that surprised if the controller gets a redesign before launch to make it easier to hold.

Okay, all that stuff does look pretty cool, but I am still slightly put off by the controller. I can't imagine the controller is easy to use if you don't want to use the screen.

Is it a entirely new console? It seems like the controller should have just been released on its own as an accessory. I mean it looks really cool, but I don't think it would jusitfy me buying a new Wii console.

Some of those definetly look interesting, I'll download a couple of them when I get the opportunity.

They are really pushing the Kinect aren't they. They've only really shown COD, Gears and Halo that aren't Kinect titles, right?

I gotta admit some of this Kinect Funlabs stuff is pretty cool. Kinect is definatly a very good thing, its just not great for games.

I may move over, the audio is definatly an issue IGN's end.

Is the dodgy sound on the Microsoft conference an error their end, something going wrong with IGN's coverage, or just my computer being useless?

I'm trying to decide between two of Dead Nation, WipEout and Infamous. I think I'm gonna get Dead Nation, but I can't decide between the other two.

Thinking of the welcome back thing, does the free games thing work as 2 games per account, or 2 games per ps3?

If I had money to spend, I would definitely get a pair of X11s, especially since they are currently only £30 on Amazon. Although, I'm not sure if they would be worth it, after a closer inspection it appears my TV doesn't have a headphone plug .

I'd love to get some Turtle Beach ones. I've heard a lot of good things.

I need to get a better quality headset, I'm currently using some cheap one I bought from GAME for like £10.

I've spent the last week playing through Portal 2. Finished the campaign and then went back and got the other achievements. Now all I have left to do is play through the co-op.

Guess they did get a hell of a team talk at half time then.

Did I hear that the Reading assistant has been sent to the stands, and one of the subs has been sent off for foul and abusive language?

I can't see how Reading can get back into this now, 3-0 down before half time will take a hell of a team talk to turn it around.

One moment of madness, and then Reading lost their composure for just a minute, and now they are 2 goals down after being on top for the majority of the game until the penalty. Cracking game to watch at the moment.

I've got it, though I haven't played it for ages.

It was a horrible style of play, a style that not even Blues fans wanted to watch. The problem was Mcleish appeared to be going for the 'try and get a point, might get lucky and get a win' approach. If that style continues I hope they do get rid of him, because its not a style of play you can be successful with. Apparently Jiranek is already gone, Hleb, Bentley, Martins and Derbyshire have gone back to their clubs, and Phillips, Larsson, Bowyer, Taylor and Parnaby are out of contract. I can see Johnson being snapped up by a Premier League side, but Dann's injury may put clubs off, at least until January. Ferguson and Foster may have to go because of their wages, but I hope it isn't the case, especially with Foster. There's also Talk of Zigic and Ridgewell being on their way, but by the sounds of it Gardener is going to stay put, but I guess we'll see who actually goes once the transfer window opens.
