  1. Decent shot from Messi and a good save from the keeper. Really good game.
  2. I nearly turned it off at the 80th minute. Really glad I didn't do that now. Hopefully be over with soon so you can get some rest.
  3. The Virus must be mutating into making France come back into the game. Superb play for the goals.
  4. There's time yet for the karma of that coming back.
  5. Forgot it was a 3pm kick off and presumed it was 7pm. Even though someone mentioned it in here last night. Not missed much luckily.
  6. The trailer originally made me very excited. Yet the news thread took that to a whole new level. Hoping it will satisfy people and create new fan's. I'm hoping for myself that it will provide a warm nostalgic feeling about it all. The smart move was the trailer asking me if I remember the feeling when I could just pick up a video game and begin playing. No. I do not with a wrestling game at least. Gameplay reminds me of the golden year's of wrestling that was a lot of fun to play back in the day. So very much looking forward to it now. As mentioned really hoping my expectations aren't too high and setting the bar too high.
  7. I'm happy Blackburn Rovers bounced back this weekend with a win over Norwich. Nice 2-0 win. Hopefully we can get fitness and form back up. Both team's seemed rusty and after the defeat to Preston last weekend. I was concerned we would not get the win. Was going to happen though with the World Cup break. Be interesting to see how the Premier League will play out and if rust will be an issue once it starts up again. 3rd place now. Not so bad. Will heat up coming into the Holiday/New Year. Just need to not keep dropping points like we do, or let form slide and drop down the league table for another year. Sunderland are 12th. Also with Rover's ex manager which feels weird in a way.
  8. Do we get a badge to say Metalman is proud of us now?!
  9. Yeah that confused me also about it. But it's EA and they tend to go back on anything like that. I remember similar issue's from previous year's like this. The card looks decent enough. So I might swap out the Inform version for that one. Glad you got a decent base of Haaland and Kane. Picked Mount up myself with the Swaps. Wasn't any other player who I felt would be a good use of them, or fit into the team. Can you fit in Kane or Haaland? If not hopefully you can use them as a sub or fodder. Been curious what most choose to do with their swap tokens.
  10. Just found a box of my brother's stuff in it. It has a load of match day program's from 1990 to 1995 for Blackburn Rover's. It was nice seeing them again. As Mark loved his football and would often go down to watch them. Always remember waiting at the door for big brother to come home from the match. It had a plaque in there designed like their home shirt at the time that he had made himself and some player's signed it for him. There was also a Lancashire telegraph from the day they won The Premiership. Plus a little Alan Shearer figure that came in some cereal at the time. It had me thinking to the thing's we collect from our own love of sport. What do you own that is something special to you from a sport's team or player?!
  11. Robbie Savage just with the shit hair and all. But often than not it was CDMs who I wanted to play as or be like. It was a position I preferred to attacking or defence. So it was usually anything Roy Keane style. Was never good at football. But always found it good fun having a kick about along with the exercise. Although managed to emulate this penalty perfectly once myself.
  12. Kane and Foden from the World Cup selection released today look tasty. Will probably stick with Gold Kane for now. But them card's are on my next purchase list. With 40,000K I can't afford them yet. Nothing to sell either. Registered for Champs. But waiting til Sunday late to play them. Div6 is full of sweaty toxic player's.
  13. Remembering Mbappe laughing at the weekend.
  14. I've just been checking the cut scene's again, and the story. You should at least try to finish it and get the ending. It's an emotional ride. But all of the story is and gets tied up well with it allowing a continued look if we ever get a sequel. Deacon is by far one of the most interesting character's for me and his emotional process of it all and what remains of Day's Gone. It still hit me did the grief of my own losses going back. The World was a lot of fun to get lost in and I really enjoyed the ccharacter's. Also the bike is satisfying as a mode of transport. Enjoy going back @Baddar
  15. Just added that to the download list to give it another go around. Some very fun little bits about this game. Haven't played since it originally came out. So I'm going to suck still. Picked up Generation Zero Yesterday. Has been quite fun so far. Just enjoyed the idea of it really. Plus the 80s synth music hits that Stranger Thing's vibe.
  16. Argentina France final would be good. Just so I can see Mbappe cry now. But want Morroco to go through over the French. Possible I would prefer them to win over Argentina. But can't see it. Hopefully this does make them prove me wrong. Then I'm happy.
  17. Had the most tense 90 minutes of FA Cup Final Football as I can handle. 2nd season in. Blackburn Rovers are FA Cup Champions. Honesly it was a joy to build the team and train the player's and each week learn how to handle them. Jamie Vardy gave me a heartattack once during the game. We also survived in 11th place in the Premier League.
  18. Having similar issues with my machine also Colly. I've been looking at tutorials online about deep cleaning. I'm half tempted to spend a day just doing it. The fan sounds like a jet is about to take off. Have another PS4 in storage brand new I could use. But there's a lot of emotion and sentiment to the current machine. If I see any decent video's or articles I will let you know. Half tempted to replay Day's Gone. It was my favourite game of 2019. I'm half worried if the story will be still as emotional the second time around. It was such a fun game to get lost in at the time. Half expect it will be a lot more emotional with circumstances of the last few year's personally for myself. But think Deacon was an interesting character to play as. The acting was very good from all involved. I'm always hoping a sequel will be announced. Elden Ring is on my list. Once I have managed to get through a whole backlog of game's. As much as I love the soulsborne series. Preferred Mortal Shells take on the character RPG aspect of having shells to inhabit instead of having to fiddle with stats. It was just easy to be able to switch play styles up quickly. It was my only gripe with Darks Souls and Bloodborne.
  19. It's not Christmas until a muppet version of Tiny Tim reduces me to tears. Every year it does it since I watched the film at the cinema as a child. But it's a Christmas tradition. Just love the movie for some reason. Proper fun feel with a lot of scene's that still hit you a little later in life due to what we all go through. The Muppets and Caine just make it a very fun take on the classic tale. Although for some reason Christmas Movies are often either Crocodile Dundee, Steptoe and Son Ride Again with some Carry On films sprinkled in between the other festive usual one's that are on. Guess because this is what was usually on TV as a child and is now mostly at Christmas. Might watch one of the Lethal Weapon Movie's if there's time. Oh Black Christmas. As much as that film is disturbing. It's quite a decent slasher.
  20. I was worried his penalty kick miss would have interfered with the touchdown for Nasa this morning.
  21. Without Southgate I don't think the last few years would have been as good as they have been to England. To make it to a semi final in 2018 and a final a year ago. It's a lot of improvements on previous England team's. He's made that team a hungry one that actually play well together. The young set up and other talent coming up can only be a good thing going forward for them. Yes we have had losses. But in a way I think a lot of it will be what drive the team on and learn from it.
  22. Gutted. Was worried all day about this game all day. They played hard and well did England. France just edged it with the 2nd goal.
