  1. I have two Paradox game's to play this weekend. Age of Wonders Planet Fall and Surviving The Aftermath.
  2. Well time to jump into Yakuza after seeing this video. Spoiler for the cameo that will be going into Like A Dragon from someone we all easily know.
  3. Finally finished my career mode as Premier League, FA Cup and UFEA Conference League Winners. Fun season using all the players, development of youth squad and some fun game's I've played along the way.
  4. That would make you Lineker the 3rd. Remember what Crusader Kings can teach you.
  5. Savage and Mahrez come to mind. Possible the club does not want their training session's to be disrupted. Edited: https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www.skysports.com/amp/football/news/11095/12794411/anthony-gordon-newcastle-hold-talks-with-everton-as-winger-returns-to-training-on-thursday-after-two-day-absence Planned absence they are saying for Tuesday. After reading up again on another source. He's off then if he's missed two more day's that had not been planned for.
  6. At the point in career mode that top talent is now mostly regenerations, former youth player's and pre-generations. You'll find the odd really young player still around.
  7. Peter Falk really made that role. The interesting thing about that show is not the killer. But how Columbo will get them. Such a lot of good guest stars and episodes. Ah bother. This has happened to me also with the Columbo collection. Bought them on DVD, gave them to an ex and bought them back to see them on Prime. Although they aren't now. So I'm glad to have the box set collection. Yes. A lot of the work of Christie does remind me of my grandmother. Funny story. I always wanted a pet mouse at the age of about 7. Anyway. Remember buying one that would have ended up as snake food, and not a long life expected for it. Long story short. My Grandmother told me about "Hickory, Dickory, Dock." The TV Episode of Poirot. So that is where my love for Mr P started. I think mostly why I'm into a lot of the stuff I like is because of my Grandmother. We often read the detective works together, or watched them.
  8. The level changes every couple of season's.
  9. Yes. Murder By Death is also a good recommendation for that type of Mystery film.
  10. With Knives Out Glass Onion having just come out. Along with just thinking on the movie 12 Angry Men. Thought we could have a thread to discuss the shows we watch, or films and book's that we like on these types of work and subject matter. Working my way through Agatha Christie's The Mysterious Affair At Styles at the moment. Always been a fan of her work. Think mainly Poirot. He was my first Detective love. Managed to pick up most of the book's very cheaply at charity shop's over the last few year's. As luck would have it. YouTube have a few audio book's uploaded, along with the radio plays the BBC recorded. Still need to make time to view Knives Out. It was recommended for a movie just like it to watch Gosford Park. So yes. A thread to talk on Crime, Mystery, Murder Mystery and the Detective Genre of Film, TV or Fiction.
  11. That picture is of the hold out jurors own son. A lot of why he behaves the way he does, is because of his own strained relationship with his son. In some way the case reminds him of that. So it is why he act's like he does. Also yes total racist. Love 12 Angry Men. It's an interesting setting in a room on a the hottest day of the year. Enjoyed how well it is acted and the story. The plot points are great, and how well he manages to convince everyone on the jury who thought the boy was guilty. It is filmed great. Love how it is edited and produced. The backwards to forward shots of each actor during their part. It definitely felt like a play of some sort when looking back at it now. My favorite scene from the movie.
  12. Yeah. Benji is reminding me I have them to play myself. There's something fun about those types of game's I think. They've managed to carve out quite a fun niche to tap into.
  13. The Division. Missed the buzz around it when it first released a few year's back. Had tried to get into it a few time's over the year's since owning it. However I just couldn't get into the feel of it. Anyway it has been sitting in my collection for a long while. Figured I would have another go on it a few month's back. The Pandemic of Covid that we experienced I think helped me get into it a lot more this time. Been messing around on it today, and trying to build up the base of operations. Just enjoyed walking in a Post Pandemic New York, and seeing what has gone down. Been upgrading and crafting for my next trip out the safe area.
  14. A nice win in the North East Derby this afternoon. Thank you Middlesbrough for letting us get the win over you.
  15. I don't mind Crystal Palace in London. The place is a nice area, and good restaurant's.
  16. The classic old frozen pitch postponing a few of the day's game's today in the EFL. 1-1 at Bristol City. Always have okay form going into January on the back of some good results. Then come January all out the window. Don't know if we will see promotion or even the play off positions come end of the season. Hopeful. But I've been here many time's before with false hope. I need to find a Premier League team to at least be a fan of.
  17. Gameplay online in FUT is so broken. It's not my connection issue either. It either slows up, feeling sluggish and sometimes speeds ahead. Then when you win 3-0. It won't register the win for some reason. What have they done in the last few updates. They've ruined the gaming experience online.
  18. Having managed to defeat the final boss a while back, and having gone back to Mortal Shell at Christmas. It felt the right time to pickup The Virtuous Cycle DLC. It just adds a lot more roguelike fun to an already amazing Dark Souls style game that Mortal Shell is. Really enjoyed picking it back up. But boy. Is it punishing me. Most of the time I'm getting my Lute out to take five minute's out and enjoy the World again and listen to the music. Going to be very fun exploring the World of Fallgrim again.
  19. A defeat to Rotherham is on the card's Today for Blackburn Rovers then. Fun time's. Need Sunderland to beat Swansea and the day won't be a sad one. Watch it be a loss.
  20. So turning the hand ball rule on made for a lot of fun in the current career mode I'm doing. This pleases me. Been watching some YouTube video's for idea's for other Career Modes I could try, along with the tips for Youth Scouting. Have to admit it has been fun using the youth players in the first team.
