  2. Love Viva La Bam and the Wildboys, and I always find myself watching Pimp My Ride...
  3. Saw AVP the other night. It was lame, but what they should do is make a buddy cop movie with Predator and that b-grade halle-berry-wannabe chick, with Alien as the chief of police who's always on Predator's case. Predator obviously wouldn't understand human beings, so at the end of every episode he'd do something stupid and everyone would shrug and go "Predatoooorrrr!" and then laugh.
  4. Sharks Tale = most disappointing movie of 04.
  5. HIM sound nothing like Pink Floyd. At all. They sound more like muse except more basic, or something along those lines.
  6. Dodgeball was hilarious. Mix between Heavyweights and Zoolander = godly movie. Girl Next Door was decent, haven't seen Shaun of the Dead and Alien vs Predator will be trash but I will no doubt love it.
  7. If I wanted to hear fans sing I'd go to a kareoke bar. Yeah it's a good way to get the crowd pumped but I like seeing artists actually deliver and prove themselves rather than just having a big energetic show. From my experience, the bands that rely soley on big pumped up gimmicks do so because they can't live up to the record. Sure, it might still be a good show and have fun (which is the main thing) but I like a little of both. There are those bands that can pull off a huge live show with alot of energy and still come off as great artists, but those are few and far between. Of the "punk" gigs I've been to that included this sort of handing-the-mic-out stuff, the actual band sounded like shit and the vocals were even worse seeings as the mic wasn't with anyone who could actually sing. Great energy in the crowd but sounded like absolute shit. Anyway, I haven't seen either of these bands live (and I have no interest in seeing either of them as they're not really my thing) so I can't really say either way.
  8. I've watched the full season discs back to back on a bunch of occassions. As have most of my friends. I don't think a Family Guy movie would do that well as it's not that huge of a show, but I doubt it's appeal would be lost because it's 90 minutes long.
  9. Those Canucks sure are touchy, eh.
  10. Band chasing them should be Monkees or Jet or some other shameless rip off, led by super villain couple Mark David Chapman and Yoko Ono.
  11. There was an article on him in Rolling Stone a few months ago. I didn't read the snopes article, so I dunno if it's mentioned in there, but the Flaming Lips co-wrote and co-produced his album so it can't be too bad.
  12. I <3 JT. I saw him live early this year, very great. Fantastic voice, played guitar and keys and was on for over 2 hours. All the songs he played were badass extended versions, including a 40minute version of "I'm Loving It". Oh, the <3. I marked for being the only male there not dragged along by his girlfriend.
  13. Ugh ugh ugh. They butcher every song they cover.
  14. My friend's band is called Getting Some, so when they play they go out and say "Hi, we're getting some". Always makes me chuckle.
  15. Palahniuk = my favourite author. Survivor > Choke, though, but both are badass. Nope.
  16. White Chicks was pretty average, but it is worth renting for G-Money (of Battledome fame) who was fucking hilarious. He completely saved the movie, and me and my friends are constantly quoting him now.
  17. *Sigh* I hate these topics because almost all of the posts are people bitching. Once again... different strokes... Movies are a matter of OPINION. There's no way to prove that a move is better than another... sure, post your opinions but those who seem to be offended that blah is higher than blah are morons. What did you expect? This list is voted on by normal people - not professional film critics. Enough whinging please

  19. Yeah, but your opinon is moot as you think posting "Do it in the butt" over and over is hilarious.
  20. Not worth arguing. Another case of a few (okay, alot) bad apples spoiling the bunch. Not all juggalos are like JuggaloNinjaLee... others on ewb include myself & Javert. But I couldn't care less what people thought of my music taste, as I don't let what I like be defined by it's genre, like some other people here. Anyway, I can't believe this topic has turned into this. Ugh, so very ugh.
  21. Amazed by Lonestar This Years Love by David Gray Have A Little Faith In Me by John Hiatt My Sweet Lord by George Harrison Maybe I'm Amazed by Paul McCartney No More Lonely Nights by Paul McCarney And just the lyrics from Here Today by Paul McCartney, written about John Lennon
  22. Nah, that was in the opening credits from memory. Good song, though.
  23. CONTAINS SPOILERS I GUESS What's the name of the song that plays in The Girl Next Door when they have their first kiss? Is it David Gray's 'This Years Love'? Or is that song played when they have sex in the limo? If the song is when they kiss, what is the name of the song that plays when they have sex? Sorry if it's confusing - there's two songs I want. I've established one is David Gray's 'This Years Love' and am trying to find the other. Cheers.
