  1. I haven't seen it but I've heard Christmas With The Kranks was a pretty awful movie. Poor Tim Allen can't seem to catch a break these days.
  2. ::snap, snap, snap, snap, snap:: Someone's in the kitchen with Diana! Someone's in the kitchen I kno-o-o-o-ow This High School Musical based episode is surprisingly now one of my favorites, I think.
  3. 1) Christina Ricci 2) Stacy Keibler 3) Jennifer Aniston 4) Christy Hemme 5) Mandy Moore 6) Velvet Sky 7) Mila Kunis 8) Elizabeth Hurley 9) Melina Perez 10) Amanda Bynes
  4. I'm a fan of the film and own the special addition. I find it hard to sit through multiple viewings however, getting the feeling it drags on. I do love watching some of the songs kick off though, my favorite being Hey Jude when it goes to the streets and that drunken bum starts banging on the trash cans. That guy was fucking gold. I get saddened when I listen to the soundtrack and don't hear his beat
  5. Not sure if it helps as I don't know where you were watching it, but found this bit on wiki Note some music differs from original televised version. This includes the theme song, which in the original airing was "Revolution" by Aimee Allen as well as the fight music "All the Things She Said" by TATU in the final episode. also, I miss this show.
  6. Never heard anything about it until a week ago when I saw a trailer for it. It looked like it was going to be a big time guy-movie full of arrogant motherfuckers and bad asses resorting to acts of violence. I guess It's been out in Britain for at least a month now and reviews are a bit mixed, though leaning on the positive side. Anyone seen it or seen the trailer for it? I'm trying to decide whether or not to spend the money to go see it when it comes out.
  7. Just finished reading the Spider-Man: The Other story arc and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed. Spoiler: Click here to viewJust everything was great and there were times when I actually wanted to cry. When Mary was crying over Peter as he had just passed, or at the very end when Mary and Peter are just having a romantic evening. There was just great chemistry in those scenes, especially the romantic one. Kirsten Dunst's acting in the third Spider-Man film has now been demoted even worse than it already was in my mind. It's now ---- here's the line of excellence, where Mary Jane was through most of The Other ---- Here's crap ---- and here's Kirsten Dunst in SM3, looking up at crap. Other times I was so damn jealous of Spidey and his superpowers that I felt like a kid again watching his 90's animated series. The spikes I'm kind of on the fence about, but I could live with seeing it in the future. I really liked the fact that they acknowledged Peter seemed to oddly only be able to have adhesiveness on his hands. Oh, and I can't say enough about the dream in Peter's coma, except for one damn box where the personification of his Spider-Powers seems a little too clear and articulate. Other than that, fucking amazing work there. It seems like they could have gone a lot of cool places with this, but after reading the wiki about how they just jumped to One More Day and the Mephisto thing which everyone's been saying is awful, I'm a little disappointed. Oh well, still an amazing read!
  8. I saw Candyman when I was little and have effectively buried any memory of that movie out of fear, except for when someone else brings it up. Thank you for the nightmares!
  9. I just read on wiki (sadly, it was a part that was cited, so it may have more truth to it) that they're going to remake Poltergeist. From what I saw of Boogeyman, oy vey, I hope this project falls through before it gets too far. I'm currently watching the original on ABC Family because I've never seen it before, and no one will be able to recreate the magic that little girl had. Shame what happened to her because she was fucking gold. And in response to PRP: I wasn't really a fan of the ending to The Mist either while watching it because it really felt lacking closure. I'm okay with unhappy endings in most movies but in horror movies, I'd prefer the predictable happy ending. The artistic side of me loved it though because I thought it was rather creative. And my all-time favorite scene in any movie after watching The Birds is at the end when they all open the door to leave the house and the entire fucking town is now controlled by the birds. They. are. everywhere. and they're just chilling too. They're like the gangbangers on the sidewalk staring your ass down because, pff, the fuck you gonna do about it?

  11. The Blair Witch Project. Though a lot of people, myself included love it. However, I have to hang my head in shame when someone tries to convince me that it really was based on a true story when it's been stated that it was all fictional
  12. I think we need to go back and acknowledge what good came from this season so that we don't all decide to just stop all together. "I'm not your buddy, Guy!" - Canada on Strike And finally, we must learn to only use the internet for porn twice a day. Max - Over Logging (And maybe, though I didn't dig the Cartman story even though I got the reference:) Ms. Garrison: Boys! Boys, have you seen my penis? Kyle: .... What? Ms. Garrison: My penis is on the loose! If you see it, just try to catch it with some cheese! Butters: (rubbing his temples) Oww. That hurt my brains.. OWWW... - Eek, a Penis!
  13. I haven't seen Quarantine, though I might sometime this month. Rottentomatoes is generally giving it a thumbs up though.
  14. It was the headbutt followed up by the crying I'd bet
  15. I catch a lot of flack about this from friends, but I watched the only movie I truly consider scary every time I watch it today, that being the 2005 remake of The Amityville Horror starring Ryan Reynolds. People will at least give credit where credit is due and say Reynolds does a tremendous job in his serious role, but the consensus is that it's a horrible, horrible movie, especially in comparison to the original (which I've never seen). I wanna suggest this to anyone who hasn't seen it as it's poor ratings have probably cut the price on it by now so it should be easy to pick up. And on a side note, I keep seeing previews for this new movie coming out on Halloween - The Haunting of Molly Hartley. All of the previews make it look like generic, half-thought-out garbage with no originality at all, but has anyone heard anything on this? Because I know if it is crap it's just because it's being released on Halloween and they expect people to want to watch something scary, but really, it just looks awful.
  16. Rihanna's "Disturbia" and "This Is Halloween" from Nightmare Before Christmas
  17. I thought about turning it because I definitely felt like they were taking it too far, and I know people who have been raped which factored into my uncomfortability. Also, I liked Kingdom Of Crystal Skulls. Really, the only thing I think I laughed at was them mocking the refrigerator scene, which I thought was explained in the movie but I don't remember now. But the Butters/Cartman thing didn't even have a sense of closure. It just kind of fell flat on it's ass. I was half-expecting a to-be-continued on their part because it was so dry and drawn out.
  18. Both a friend of mine and I were depressed by the movie because, we found certain things just hit a little too close to home, I guess. Spoiler: Click here to viewIn most movies, the two main characters will meet, fall in love, spend the rest of the movie together except for maybe a short time where they fight, break apart, then get back together again. In this movie however both Nick and Norah had, sort of, distraction relationships. A girl like Norah really would leave a guy like Nick who she finds perfect to be with Tall (I think his name was), and a guy like Nick would go with Trish. It was so realistic, and captured the confusion of teenage romance of very well. By the time Nick and Norah finally figured out how perfect they were together, both my friend and I (who saw the movie at roughly the same time at two completely different theaters) in sync, looked at our dates and were saddened that we didn't have those puppy-love butterfly feelings that Nick and Norah showed. But I too gave it about a 7/10. Looking back on it, I thought Trish's acting was a little sub-par for such a simplistic role.
  19. Just got home from seeing this flick with my girlfriend, and wow and damn. Funny, romantic, tragic, and enough ridiculous confusing-plot-jumps that really made me feel like a teen again. This is also a downside to the movie because I was thoroughly depressed the whole way too. Still, beautifully acted, great casting, great writing. I was really expecting a lot, and I mean, A LOT more music involvement, but for what it was, it was pretty sweet. Anyone else see this? It may be the last great Michael Cera movie before his entire market gets saturated with his own movies.
  20. They've been my myspace friends for years now (http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fusea...iendid=17715531), but sometimes I second-guess adding them. I really only like one song of theirs - Sell Your Soul. I love that song to death. And visually, I think they've got a great gimmick. I love their masks and such. But a lot of their songs are not fit to tie my shoe. No. 5 being one of them I despise. You can't look like you do, perform like you do in Sell Your Soul and send a message like you do in that song, then produce a party song. And on that note, it's an unpopular opinion here, but I hate Paralyzer by Finger Eleven. Current Hollywood Undead, I rate (N) but I hope they get some good management to steer them in the right direction, because they strike me as having potential.
  21. QFE. Stumbled upon this website for humor - The Unofficial Zoidberg Fun Site
  22. Hell, I can't pick just one. I'd probably rank them as 1) Fry 2) Bender 3) Zapp Brannigan 4) Robot Devil Any of them stand on a very high pedestal over everyone else, ever
  23. I doubt anyone's an avid reader of the current Fraction written Punisher War Journal, but I have a subscription and I must say the conclusion to the latest Jigsaw story was rather good. I'm not on the up-and-up about Jigsaw, especially why he talks the way he does, but I loved his reasoning for hating Castle Spoiler: Click here to viewApparently he's been so obsessed with torturing Castle that others in the crime syndicate have mocked him for being in love with Castle. Jigsaw admits that he does love Frank, and he makes it sound like its kind of a brotherly love but it comes over incredibly queer, as intended I believe, because he mentions that he can't have a crush on him. So, Jigsaw decides he has to go through with his plans and finally kill Frank Castle to end his obsession with him. Creative, IMO.
  24. I bought this game for PS2, not because I was all that excited about it, but more because I was applying at a Gamestop and decided to break the ice with the guy behind the counter by reserving a copy. First thing you notice and it's very, very evident while playing the first hour or so - you're not playing a Smackdown game. In a lot of ways, that lets you down. My brother actually complained that as the game started up, we didn't watch or hear the iMPACT Theme/Opening Video. It also is a let down that TNA didn't even seem to try it's hardest in some areas, such as some of the wrestlers have generic themes instead of their actual ones. As stated a million times, the moves are repetitive as fuck. Granted, it's fun to discover something new in the midst of playing, like how to take down someone from the Ultimate X Cables, or how to do a plancha. Storymode is kind of full of plot holes, but if you can stop grimacing through those, storymode is actually quite entertaining and they've spread out the unlockables very enjoyably. However the unlockables is also a downfall, as a handfull of the characters you unlock are no-name game-generated jobbers. It feels very disappointing in the first hour or so when you win a tough match and you see you've unlocked Giant Guppie or Thunder Lang. I'm glad I only bought the game for PS2 and not 360, because I would have cried if I had spent the average running 360 game price. I'd give the game a rough 6/10, which mainly draws from storymode when you really get things going. Or in summary, get it for PS2 if you have the money to piss away, but for any other console I'd suggest waiting for the price to drop.
  25. I used to have Mark Hamill's Joker laugh as a ringtone. Beautifully, I had my friends call me as I was sitting in the theater waiting for The Dark Knight to start playing.
