I was just a bit surprised to see them in when three of the matches they were in were pretty shit. I didn't realize Backlund was only at two, in all honesty. And the Natural Disasters, Marty and IRS in my list to give the game a bit more depth as far as tag team matches go, that was more along the lines of, "Well since the LOD are in why not give more tag teams..." You're right, though, my picks weren't really thought out as "Legends of WrestleMania" like the selections I didn't like. The only inclusion I'm really pissed about is Kamala. That spot could of easily gone to someone who was a bigger star like a Ramon, Orndorff or Backlund.

The whole roster hasn't been announced yet, they're doing it in parts... He's right. Owen isn't in. There is no "Wait it out, the full roster isnt out yet" about it. Owen CAN'T LEGALY BE INCLUDED. WWE would have to ask Owen's Sue-happy widow Martha for the rights to use his likeness in a video game, and she refuses to have anything to do with the WWE. Owen is all but out. Only reason we can see him in DVDs or ANYTHING in the WWE is because they kept the rights to the video footage that contains him. It sucks, because I was a huge Owen Hart mark too. Oh yeah, I forgot about his widow.

For point 3... it depends... The ORIGINAL Kendo Nagasaki was British, however another worker worked as Kendo Nagasaki in America during the 80s who was actually Japanese. He wrestled in Stampede as Mr. Sakurada, so it is much more likely that this version is supposed to be him, since I think he was on the CS roster, no?

Yes. He was the Middleweight Champion, he beat on David Terrel who had just smoked Matt Lindland. Evan Tanner also holds wins over Robbie Lawler, Phil Baroni, Chris Haseman, Elvis Sinosic, Travis Fulton, Ikuhisa Minowa, Justin McCully, Paul Buentello, and Heath Herring. When Tanner lost to Crow he was on the downside of his career why Loiseau was on an upswing. The Grove fight was his second fight back after a huge layoff. And Franklin beats everyone not named Machida or Silva. (he got screwed in the Henderson Fight, but thats a whole different story.) Thanks. I just took an interest due to his...somewhat interesting look...y'know, cornrows one time... long bushy hair the next... a beard to rival Kimbo's the next. And because he seemed to have a lot of guts, he was just somewhat unlucky and slipped up a few times.

So as someone who only watches MMA from time to time, I've been watching a little bit the last few days and some of it is older-ish matches... And I've seen three fights with Evan Tanner now, all losses to Kendall Grove (his last match), David Loiseau and Rich Franklin... and the announcers hype him up as a real top guy... obviously seeing three loses has made me a bit confused... Was he actually as good as they say at one point?

Brave New World's alright, but its a pile of wank compared to what people hype it as. Thoroughly let down. That could be also because I had to analyze the fuck out of it for school, though. Something sort of similar yet vastly different you may enjoy is Animal Farm by George Orwell. That is a book that everyone should read, whether they have an interest in politics or not. Brilliant.

The Game Stop Game Mania Game Paradise

So if I were to order Final Fantasy VIII from Amazon, it being the NTSC version... would it work in a Playstation 1 (Australian so PAL) that is chipped/modded/whatever you wanna call it? EDIT: And now I realize I wrote PAC instead of PAL... >_>.

Manuel Almunia is now the number 1 at Arsenal after sitting on the bench for something like 4 years. I can't see it doing anything but helping Guzan. It will allow him to learn, fill in in stuff like cup matches to get experience and fill in if Friedel's injured, to show whether he can handle top flight football.

The game plays pretty good. Minor nitpicks are the lack of tag teams entering together (just seems a bit bleh), lack of moves and the fact that you have to unlock moves. I rented it. I might buy it, but I'll probably wait until its a bit cheaper.

Are there any good updates for the start of the 08/09 season. I have one but its pretty out of whack, in terms of how much people are worth. Villa wanted 25M for Bouma, for example. >_>.

Got volume 1 (hardcover) of The Ultimates today. Read the first 5 or 6 issues, next one is called Giant-Man versus Wasp or something. Really impressed with it. I wasn't sure if I'd like it, but my God, I absolutely love how everyone is portrayed, and amazingly, I don't hate Iron Man (never been a fan). I do have a question, though. Alright, so far my list contains: Batman: Year One Batman: The Long Halloween Batman: Dark Victory Batman: The Dark Knight Returns Batman: The Killing Joke Watchmen (even though I've read it before, I'd prefer to own it) So I think that is enough Batman. If someone would be so kind as to tell me where The Dark Knight Returns and The Killing Joke fit in timeline wise with the other three that'd be much appreciated. Thinking of perhaps starting to buy the volumes of Preacher, too. Hmmm..

The Killing Joke also intrigues me. Any word on if it is good?

Sorry about the bump... I haven't read much in the way of comics recently but randomly felt the urge to pick something up... Since I have no comic book stores around me, whatever you recommend must be available off of Amazon.com. Don't really care what it is, as long as it is a good story. Started a game as Aston Villa. Brought in Pascal Chimbonda, Radek Sirl and Jhon Viafara. Still have about 2.8M left... But I'm saving that in case I need it in January. So far have beaten Newcastle 2-0, Bolton 3-0, drawn 0-0 with Middlebrough and lost 2-0 to Spurs. Oh, and I beat Nottm Forest in the League Cup. Not a bad start so far. I'm pretty pleased with it.

I encountered the same problem once. I think you just have to deal with it and just keep trying, unfortunately.
