  1. Good to see The Who and Blur in half decent position, like Pesci my hopes are now resting on Queen and Oasis, hopefully they'll be top ten.
  2. Fawlty Towers - The Germans After a brief chat with Pesci, I went straight for my Fawlty DVD and picked this episode out and it was just amazing, every time I watched it I can't help fcrying with laughter. John Cleese at his hilarious best, fantastic viewing for anyone. Rating : 10/10
  3. The Fratellis - Costello Music After hearing Chelsea Dagger I was interested in The Fratellis and boy did they exceed any expectation I had. Their music is catchy and well written and fantastic to listen to almost anywhere. For the Girl is a awesome track but in all honesty every track has that certain something about it. Top tracks: For the Girl, Creepin up the backstairs, Chelsea Dagger Rating: 8/10 Kasabian - Empire My biggest musical disappointment to date, after loving their first album and really enjoying the title track 'Empire' I was set for another great album, unfortunatly it wasn't to be. I could only get into a couple of songs and after a couple of listens I still wasn't into it. Top Tracks : Empire and Shoot the Runner Rating : 4/10
  4. I'm from Luton and therefore always look out for their results and maybe go to a couple of games, but I'm really a Gunner at heart.
  5. Stopit and Tidyup was fucking awesome, some of Terry Wogans best work. Great to see the Sharkey and George opening credits again, I loved that program. Top marks to FourStarFizzle for that and THUNDERCATS!
  6. Well hopefully the majority of them all rise to the standard of Fabregas. Wenger knows what he is doing with these lads and I'm pleased he has an eye on thhe future of the club. Hopefully the leaving of Cole and Reyes will lift the team and they can get back on track.
  7. Yeah I had that moment when I signed Pogetetz for Arsenal after selling Ashley Cole. He averaged 5 in his first 7 games and was promptly dropped and sold for alot less in the next transfer window, worst transfer ever for me.
  8. I need a new challenge and thinking of picking a team from League Two after getting Bristol City to The Premiership in four seasons, I'm tired of that game now and want something different, any suggestions?
  9. We only have two fit centre backs, I'd say we needed players.
  10. I think with Clichy Arsenal have a ready made replacement for Cole and Gallas and Toure as a centre back partnership is an attractive prospect. I just felt that Cole was worth more than that, as I heard that Chelsea only wanted £5 million or so for Gallas. The little bit of experience Gallas has may well be vital to Arsenal in the long run anyway, and with the addition of Julio Baptista I think Arsenal have had a good deadline day. I have also found out why Luton didn't sign any players, Mike Newell was out on the piss the night before. He was seen by Jo Wiley who then mentioned it on her radio show. Good one Mike, way to make yourself and the club look good.
  11. If it is then Arsenal have lost out big time in my oppinion.
  12. Your lucky your club is actually signing anyone, Luton who only have two fit centre backs haven't been able to sign anyone. We are now offically screwed, while some people complain about their manager who has just signed Obefemi Martins and a pretty good midfielder.
  13. Luton haven't had a shootout in a while and i'm glad they pulled through in this one, well done to Bristol who apparently played a good game, while we were pretty lackluster, fortunatly our defense stood firm this time around. I'm hoping for an exciting home draw in the next match.
  14. Arsenal West Ham Charlton Middlesbrough Blackburn Portsmouth Bolton Man City Wigan Reading Everton Aston Villa Newcastle Liverpool Sheffield United Wigan Chelsea Manchester United Watford
  15. A big woop for Beetlebum, Marvin Gaye getting into the list is great too.
  16. 2-0 and I think we proved a few people wrong (i.e that idiot Steve Claridge) . A great start against I think a side that will struggle this year, but we showed class and a sackful of speed, which is good.
  17. 1. Oasis 2. Muse 3. Led Zeppelin 4. The Verve 5. Blur 6. We are Scientists 7. The Prodigy 8. Queen 9. Coldplay 10. Radiohead
  18. Zaz you big cheat. I've seen that happen once or twice as well.
  19. Last week when we were playing two guys edged it straight to the keeper and didn't walk, and due to the fact there were no officials their own players were umpires and didn't give him out. I was pissed off, as were the rest of my team because we known we'd been cheated. I personally would walk if I knew I'd edged it, if I wasn't sure I would let the umpire make the decision, because he should have a good view of it all.
  20. Yeah Franck is a very good player, I saw Bullard when you guys came to Luton the other day, and he seems to be fitting in well.
  21. I find Luton's always a good challenge, Leeds could be a good one, or if you like a bit of money Hull City or Wolves. Maybe try and win a cup in Europe with Rangers or Celtic?
  22. Luton have signed Richard Langley, we wait forever to get a signing and it's a player deemed surplus to requirements at Cardiff and QPR. Hopefully we get some better signings in the coming months.
  23. Us guys from Luton know our football. I can still win if the first goal is scored in the 24th minute , I think.
  24. Dennis Bergkamp, that man was a magnificent player and he truly was one of the greats, every time I watched him play I was amazed at what he could do with a football.
  25. Nah, she won't go, if anything she'll be the first Ash evicts and therefore the first new one in the house.
