Over the past 2 weeks I've been listening mostly to Rush, Dead Kennedys, Bad Religion, Black Sabbath, Suicidal Tendencies, Prodigy and Jimi Hendrix

there's one rumor about a RHCP pack in february, but it's suspect because the date attached to it isn't a tuesday, and it isn't listed as "... pack 01" like all the other packs.

I've been playing my legacy family, trying out the bon voyage expansion. nothing much to report. Zombie gran'ma died after a week without food. Ada(greenskin woman) got fired from her job, then immediately got rehired. That's about all I have going on. I also spent 6 hours not so much 'playing' but going to great lengths to construct screenshots for The Real World: Strong Style

It's about this family, who somehow posses the spirit of the animals of the chinese zodiac, and whenever they're hugged by a member of the opposite sex, they change into that animal for a short time. Hilarity ensues. Well, not so much 'hilarity' as 'decently entertaining'. At least as far as the first few episodes go. edit: beaten both in time and thoroughness.

I thought it was a pretty good episode, one of the better ones of the season. Was that Turk from Scrubs doing the voice of Tobias, or am I just imagining things?

I think, maybe, he means individual EWB folk playing with people they know IRL, as opposed to EWB folk playing with other EWB folk, because god knows that'd be a nightmare to arrange and execute.

I've seen one of the episodes of the Gurren Lagann OVA, and boy howdy did it suck. It's a short episode about a beastman stealing the Gurren back, reportedly between episodes 5 and 6. I can't seem to find the other half of the OVA, an 'uncensored' version of episode 6 replacing the recaps with plot and more girls in hottubs, though.

Now, the wait begins to see who gets 10k more points than me. edit: I assume that it would be unethical to partner up with someone IRL, and have them do all the drummy bits while I do all the guitary bits? 'Cuz if it isn't, "I" totally could've gotten 2nd place on enter sandman.

I'm interested to know what everyone's character(s) look like. I was looking at scorehero's boards and most of their characters were either terrible, or completely unoriginal, or both. Here's the three primary variations of my character.

I just hope my PC can handle this game when it comes out. I've seen a bunch of videos of gameplay on google video and youtube. One of them with Robin Williams playing, oddly enough.

Drums... are not my thing. This is my 3rd attempt.

So far, it seems as though the anime is a fairly direct translation of the manga.

Werewolves can bite others and turn them in to werewolves. Werewolves stats drop quickly in the day. Zombies are pretty much normal Sims with a limp. Vampires die in sunlight and have to sleep in coffins, but can bite others and make them vampires. Plantsims only have Sunlight, Water and Love as their stats and skip the baby and Young Adult and Teen stages. They can also spore a plantchild as well as having normal children via woohoo.

I never really gave it a chance, 'cuz I thought the name was dumb, plus it was on spike TV, so I figured the whole thing was dumb.

Sonnova... First episode 15 has a bad framerate, now the episode 22 I have is apparently a raw, even though it came packaged with a bunch of other subbed episodes.

Speaking of 80s anime, I saw Akira again this past weekend on some cable movie channel. I forgot how amazing the art and animation in that movie was, especially the smoke effects.

It's a "I've seen a few episodes, kinda liked it, plan on seeing more, and wish to know others' opinions on the show" question.

That was easily one of the best episodes of this season.

As of Episode 19: 1) Fuck Rossiu. 2) How in the hell does Attinburough manage to keep employment? 3) Does anyone know where I could possibly get any of the commercial break cards as wallpaper? 4) Has anyone seen Fruits Basket? 5) Am I the last anime fan on EWB to see Gurren Lagann?
