No flashy images today as I'm posting from my phone. Got my first platinum of the new IDasg night for 'tales from the borderlands.' It totally counts, even if it was an easy one. Also passed the half way mark on Arkham Knight (62/110) which includes all the DLC. Some of the remaining ones are gonna be hard and/or a grind but I can see where I'm going. I did spend 45 mins last night getting 'brutality 101' which was to hit 15 unique moves in one free flow. It was a pain, but satisfying when I got it.

They seem to be in abundance. I picked one up yesterday from GAME and she asked me "how many?" - they had a fucking huge pile. They were also till printouts so presumably can generate more whenever they want.

I actually loved 3. It was the most over the top action which made me feel like I was in a crazy film or something. Loved quite a few bits, but specifically the bit in the plane (I believe just before the desert bit you mentioned), that's one of my favourite bits of a game ever.

Is that the one where you have to shoot all the blue stuff? How many attempts?

According to the wikia, on brutal you take 4x (its 2x on crushing) the damage of normal half half health (same as hard up-wards) and enemies don't drop extra ammo when you stealth them. There is no reward/trophy for doing it on brutal though, so yeah.

So after having a quick investigate, I have decided a fresh start would actually be pretty cool and give me motivation to go for trophies, thus getting more out of games. also it annoyed me that loads of Vita games were listed and I don't have the thing any more. I can still play anything I bought digitally so long as its on the same PS4 as the original account, same goes for PS+ games. Although I reckon I'll switch the PS+ sub to the new profile when its time to renew. The only thing I wasn't sure of was being able to play multiplayer, but the PS+ thing does say "by setting this as you main PS4, all profiles on the console will have access to the PS+ benefits." Fired up Battlefront and was able to play a game no problem. I've added a couple of you which it suggested through the Facebook thing, but for anyone else my new ID is Avenged_N7.

There are so many where I just got one. If only there was a way to start with a clean slate. I wouldn't mind replaying so games if it meant a chance at a perfect profile

Dammit, I hate trophies but seeing some nice pictures and a graph makes me want to do the same. I trade stuff so much though that apart from PS+ games and the things I currently have, there would be so many things I wouldn't get.

I decided to do the collection on crushing since I had done the originals on normal. The worst part so far is that one room where a guy walks in with a shotgun right after a cut scene. The worst part before that was the bit where you drop into the water room and people spawn in from every angle, bur I managed to cheese that by getting them to spawn before actually dropping down. Jet Ski bit.. first attempt I was very blasé about it and almost got to the end. Since then I've been more careful and keep getting killed like an idiot. I think its because being careful equates to not enough speed in this sometimes. Also not looking forward to the platform with the zombie/monster blokes or of course, the ship at the end. I do love these games though

Loving Y so far after picking it up the other day, its the first time a Pokemon game has felt 'new' to me pretty much since they started. Which is funny because the majority of my team at the moment are from the first gen. Just got past the bit with Snorlax on the bridge which was really cool. Oher things I love; having a bigger cast rather than just one friend/one rival, being able to change costume, bike being replaced by skates, the huge colourful cities. In previous games I never felt inclined to do anything other than mandatory stuff but with this I'm in full on RPG mode and talking to everyone. Current team is Braixen, Pidgey, Wartortle, Pikachu & Butterfree. I only kept Butterfree because I wanted psychic moves but then Braixen learned psybeam so I was gonan box him. Then he learned Poison Powder, Stun Spore and Sleep Powder all at once which was kinda nuts, pretty useful to have this early on I think.

Both of the those videos, especially the Suicide Squad one, have refreshed my interest in upcoming DC movies.

Bolded the ones I am the most interested in. Mass Effect, if it doesn't get delayed (which I am certain it will) is slated for December, if its anything like this year I'll be balls deep in uni work so waiting to get it as a Christmas gift will be fine. Final Fantasy, I mean I love the series but I have at least five FF games on my 'to do' list already. Something like this is exactly the kind of thing I'll get stuck on hard bit and leave for ages, I can hold off. Uncharted, exciting and I'll struggle with this one but I have the collection and I'm playing through on the hardest available difficulty and its taking a long time. Mirrors Edge, super cool and I think it'll be awesome but hey... I only finished the first one last year, I'm sure I can wait a few months for the second one. As for Ni No Kuni, still haven't finished the original Admittedly I did kind of cheat already... I bought a new 3DSXL because of the whole year of Pokemon events thing and it came with Y pre-installed. I say it doesn't count because I bought a console, not a game... the game just happened to be already on it

I totally fell in love with that game the first time I played it, it was wodnerful. Would love to play the PS4 remaster sometime. I guess it'll be in a year

I'm likely to be spending a lot more time in this thread since I have vowed to not buy a single new game from this day on for the rest of the year as per New Years Resolutions. also, yay for getting to post a bunch of cool images. Platform: Steam Achievements: NA Progress: Complete This was a fairly short game, around 5-6 hours (although there other modes I didn't bother with), well worth the £2.50 or so I paid for it in a sale. The game looks beautiful with a sort of cell shaded-ish art style and the main gameplay is hella fun. The boss fights are sometimes trickier and occasionally annoying, but generally pretty fun too. The 'duels' are also fun, a nice touch to break up the play style of the game. Story is a little all over the place, but without spoiling anything it is intentional. It's pretty great having the main character narrate the game as it unfolds too. Now I'm moving on to... Platform: PS4 Trophies: NA Progress: Main Story, Batgirl: A Matter of Family, Catwoman's Revenge, GCPD Lockdown, A Flip of a Coin, Red Hood Story Pack, Harley Quinn Story Pack, The Season of Infamy Obviously a great game, no denying that. Since the most recent story DLC (Season of Infamy) was a big one, I suspect that'll be the last one. I know there's challenge maps to come but I don't really bother with those, having fights for the sake of it? Nah. Good for boredom, but I have so much to play through I won't bother. Plus I could really do with clearing some space on my PS4 so I can maybe get GTAV reinstalled at some point. Anyway, I'm currently on GCPD Lockdown (you play as Nightwing) and its annoyingly hard. The fights are tough but you just don't have half the skills/gadgets Batman does, so I feel pretty handicapped.

Is it working the same this year where Agent Carter will run and AoS will be on break during that time?

Omikron - The Nomad Soul is currently free to download. Its the first (I think) game that Quantic Dream did and it heavily features David Bowie.

I think the parts which mirrored it closely were very intentional and with purpose rather than just being 'lets make it like the old ones!'. Kylo/Han on the bridge (although arguably that's more Empire) and Rey's story being much like Luke's. Agree with the 'own twists' thing too. My favourite probably being seeing Kylo Ren for the first time and thinking hmm, Vader 2.0 I see. Then when he takes off his helmet, not only is he not disfigured, he's basically just a really fucking moody teenager with Daddy issues who is also inexperienced as fuck. Other things I loved (sorry if I'm repeating things)... How much Fin and Poe became bros so quickly, Chewbacca getting a ton of personality development despite still only making that one noise and the Nazi-esque general guy who's name I forgot. BB8! This droid is Disney as fuck, but I absolutely love the little guy. So cool. Oh and until it was obviously a hologram, I genuinely thought Snoke was a legit giant. Finally saw this today, managed to go 100% spoiler free by some miracle. It was well worth the wait, everything and everyone was perfect. Awesome film. This is absolutely the Star Wars the young me fell in love with.
