I saw it a half week ago at 3 in the morning after waiting for it with open arms.

The end result was mixed, and I thought it would be. It leaves nothing open-ended about the first one and makes about zero sense plot-wise. The story is nothing more than a vehicle for Sephiroth to come back. That isn't a problem in the long run though. In the big picture, that is what the fans wanted the most. I nearly shat myself(along with the other person I watched it with) when he finally materialized. The problem is that his fight scene is nothing you haven't already seen earlier in the movie. The main fight should've been everyone taking down Bahamut after the "Seph situation" was taken care of. That was a nifty sight to behold(outside of the "jump to heaven" :thumbsdown: ).

So, a crappy story with one purpose = A let down for me.

I'll look at this like a porno. When viewed in one sitting you'll be bored and occasionally entertained by something hot looking. You will want to see it again, however....and when you do, you are going straight to the "money scenes".

I'd give it *** out of ***** just because I'm a fan, but anyone who hasn't seen FF7 through to the end will not give a crap.
