I'm going to resist the chance for a rant about the festivals thread which I put up.

The lineup is pretty cack if you ask me, $85 for 2 days is quite good though and I much prefer festivals to be stuck in one location rather than as travelling roadshow that tend to be quite common over in the U.S.

Coachella has a far better lineup, and for me this year Werchter has the best lineup is awesome. Seriously Werchter > Other Festivals.

While the line up looks fantastic, Tristy is right in the fact that it's not nearly as varied as it used to be. We play almost all of the major acts on the line up as well as a few of the not-so-major acts. Most of these bands all reside in the same genre or something very close to it, which pretty much goes against the entire idea of Lollapalooza. I remember when it first started, Perry's whole idea was something for everyone, my favorite quote is "We'll have the anti-gun booth next to the NRA booth."
