Now if Bama, USC, or Texas loses and only one of them loses we are free of any National Championship controversy this year. However, if two of them lose we might see more controversy than is even imaginable. There could be quite a few 1-loss teams.

From the looks of it if USC, Texas and Bama all win out then Bama is the one looking on the outside, I mean looking at USC's schedule they should with ease win out and be playing in the Rose Bowl which is basically a home game for them anyway.

Actually I was worried about the Tide going into the LSU game, but after our defense started scoring this week I feel better.

So, this is a rather key weekend for the Crimson Tide. If they can take one from LSU, perhaps they're the real deal as contenders for the SEC title. If not, well, there's always next year. But it would be fun if the Tide won if only for the amount of fun I'd have with Hugar over it.

Well Texas played a very talented Ohio State team in Columbus for their 2nd win of the season. Also Oklahoma ususally proves to be a tough match-up for Texas yearly in the Red-River Shootout, so it isn't the Longhorns fault that Oklahoma is awful and their much better then them this season. Also Texas Tech was ranked 10th when they played Texas, and got blown out. So don't say Texas hasn't played anyone.

It defintely seems like a down year for the Big 12, and the Longhorns took full advantage.

LSU just did Miami a big favor, though it's looking unlikely USC or Texas lose before the Nat'l Championship game.

Whoa whoa whoa. How the fuck does Bama have 17 National Titles? The number I've always heard is 12.

As for the game, it was good. We did well, but it was so obvious when Croyle missed D.J. Hall wide open in the final seconds of the fourth that the Tide would not be winning this game. On another note, may I say that Brodie Croyle is one overrated bastard?
