Which was the one where the first level involved saving the president and the monuments of Washington? I loved that game to bits, I still remember the opening credits music.

Jungle Strike certainly starts that way. But then, it's a very generic thing with Strike games. >_>

Wasn't that Nuclear Strike? I know for a fact I hated that one with a passion. It's making my blood boil just thinking about it :@

There are too many of them, that I haven't played in the longest time. Which one was it that the first level was you flying around Washington DC, protecting the Presidents motorcade? Thats the only one I can remember :(

I remember an incredibly crappy one on the Playstation. Any idea what it was called?

Soviet and Nuclear were both on the PS2, I believe.

EDIT: Shit, didn't realise the bloke above had said it already...

I'd probably say Madden 2005, Madden 06 and SVR 2006 for my top 3. They were all hype. SVR 2006 was significantly worse than the previous game. It no longer had fun gameplay. It was no longer very good of a game.

Madden 2005 and 06 were just not really that great games. Blitz: The League, while flawed is a far superior game to either of them.

Another game I didn't like after all the hype was Rachet & Clank. I didn't think it was a very good game. Going further back, I also didn't like Mega Man X, even though that was one of the biggest things back in the 90s.

Plus there's all the times when I got caught up in the hype on the box for a crappy bargain bin Tycoon game.

There was also the whole Star Fox 64 thing too, because I never expected what was supposedly one of the greatest games ever not to even have a save function. I still played it a bunch of times and get alot of time out of multiplayer though, so I guess it really wasn't that bad.

Final Fantasy X. I was so psyched... and then I played it. It's not that it's a bad game, it's that Yuna and her amazingly emotionless voice actress made me want to stab someone.
