101 Greatest Screenplays

I like it. No Scarface anywhere makes me happy. I think it's the first film-related list ever that doesn't have that in.

Dr. Strangelove being 12 is brilliant.

Screenplay by Charlie Kaufman. Story by Charlie Kaufman & Michel Gondry & Pierre Bismuth

I am satisfied with this list just for that. Though I'd rank it even higher. I'm surprised Tootsie is in the top twenty; is it really such a classic?

Part of this list looks more like a "Well, this movie's screenplay looked good on the screen." instead of what it should be "This movie's screenplay looked good when I read it."

That said, I don't really have any complaints since I tend to have trouble judging screenplays.

This is actually one of the better film lists I've seen. I agree with the top 10(although I'd put Chinatown number 1 personally, but Casablanca rocks anyway). Seeing Eternal Sunshine of The Spotless Mind at the top 25 is great!

Ahhh, while I realised it was an American list, I didn't realise it was only including American films.

It's an alright list, in that case. Dr. Strangelove is up there, as is Sunset Blvd., so I'm happy.
