I read something about 6 months ago about that, apparently he has a fake passport which makes him older, come to think of it, he does look older than 21.

Thats not what they've been letting on at all. Fergie didn't have to send Howard/Foster out on loan and you don't usually go to that trouble to sign a bench warmer.

Whether it's at Man Utd or not, having seen some of Watford when I was back from Uni last year, Foster is class. He was superb at the play-off final as well.

At the end of the day, with the current crop of English goalkeepers, I'd bet on Tim Flowers being in contention for the long sleeved jersey.

Hargreaves ponders Utd move

England and Bayern Munich midfielder Owen Hargreaves is considering an offer from Manchester United.

"The offer from United is fantastic," Hargreaves, who recently signed a contract extension with Bayern, told German magazine Sport Bild.

"Particularly as an England international, it's of interest and you never know if such an opportunity will arise again," said the 25-year-old.

"Now is the time to take the next step to develop even further."

The midfielder, who has 34 caps, made his England debut against Holland in a friendly at White Hart Lane in August 2001.

Hargreaves was a member of the England squad at the 2002 World Cup and Euro 2004, but was played in a number of different positions and struggled to establish himself in the team.

However, he was in excellent form at the World Cup in Germany, starring in the centre of midfield against Sweden and Portugal, and is set to start for England against Greece in a friendly at Old Trafford on Wednesday.

Hargreaves has spent his entire professional career with Bayern since moving to Germany from Canada as a 16-year-old in 1997.

He made his debut for the German club on 12 August 2000, coming on as a substitute for Carsten Jancker.

The Canadian-born player has won the Bundesliga title four times and was a Champions League winner in 2001.

Hargreaves has been linked with numerous Premiership clubs over recent years, including Arsenal, Tottenham and Middlesbrough.

Well that came out of the blue. It wouldn't bother me either way. He's not an awesome player but he isn't bad either as proved in the World Cup. Will he or won't he though?
