Don't worry about how exactly you write a bet out, they'll accept it anyway. Something as simple as "France to win" would suffice (if you were betting on them to win their first game)

I normally put the odds on the slip with football as well, taking away the very small risk of them not completely understanding what you mean. As far as my "tactics" go, I normally spend £10 at a time, so not an awful lot. If it's on just the one game, I'll put £5 on whoever I think will win and then the other £5 on stuff like correct score or first goalscorer bets.

Online sites like Bet365 may be a better way to do it, as it's just a case of clicking boxes and confirming your bet.

Fuck, I only remembered about this while looking at the results in TGI Fridays last night Hopefully I can still bet on matches that haven't happened yet and not be kicked out ¬_¬

One and two are obviously null and void now, and three is a bit dodgy as it's underway, but hopefully I can salvage something? I won't be too dissapointed if I'm kicked out though, as it was entirely my fault

Not that it's gonna happen, but the Austria to win bet won't count now. The 12 other credits you've used will though.

By the way, I'll post the standings so far at the conclusion of the Germany game later tonight. I'll be putting the next set of betting up straight after. You won't have too long to place bets on that, as the games take place tomorrow and Tuesday.

I don't have a debit/credit card, would be too tempting to spend a lot on shit over the internet.

But I popped in today, filled out one of those forms where you fill in the boxes, was a piece of cake. Went for singles on a Croatia win, Draw-Germany HT/FT and Schweinsteiger to score first. I noticed you can do first goalscorer/correct score doubles, but can you do first goalscorer/correct outcome? Like, Schweinsteiger to score first and a Germany win? Can't imagine I'd get too much extra, but thought I'd ask anyway.

Quick question - it was William Hill and they had the little boxes for stake for 50p, £1, £2, £4, £5, etc. can you mark more than one? Say I wanted to bet £3, would I mark the £2 and the £1 boxes? Seemed to be very quick, I take it the guy just feeds it through a machine that reads what boxes I've marked?

Aaaaaand Croatia win. My first win, yay! £5 stake, so will get £9 back for that. Let's hope Schweinsteiger actually plays. I'll get my money back if he hasn't taken part in the game when the first goal is scored, correct?

To the first bolded part; You can for the scorer/score, but I don't think you can do what you've said above. No harm in asking though.

To the second bolded part; To my knowledge, yeah. Betfred use that policy, so others should do as well.
