Mind you, a few years back Arsenal had a pattern of beating Leeds 4-1 at Elland Road. So when Arsenal get drawn against Leeds at Elland Road in the cup I thought, I'll head to the bookies and stick a tenner on "Arsenal to win 4-1". I get to the bookies and see odds of 36/1 and think "Shit! That'll never happen! I'll just stick a tenner on Arsenal to win."

Arsenal are leading 3-1 as he game is coming to a close when, in the 88th minute, Lauren heads the ball in and Arsenal win 4-1. How gutted was I going to collect £16-something instead of £360?

Right, I'm almost gonna give up this betting malarky before I've started. I had a look at the odds and thought I fancied Villa and Ibra to score first in their games, but then decided to have a day off due to me losing everything yesterday. I probably would've stuck a few quid on each at 9/2 and 11/2. Shit. That'll fucking teach me - only start gawking at the odds if I definitely plan to place a goddam bet!

Yeah, it's the same with the lottery. Don't think about putting certain numbers on and then not bothering, only to watch the live draw and see them come up. This is the same sort of thing, only on a smaller scale.

Anyway, I'll get £14.50 back from today after putting £10 on (Thanks to Sweden), putting me about £11.50 up over three days. It's not much, but I'd rather be £11.50 up than down, obviously.
