Bands that dissapeared off the face of the planet

A few months ago I randomly remembered some MTV2 documentary series that followed around a number of bands, and a few got a small amount of popularity out of it. It was roughly around the time emo was becoming popular, with brand new, ffaf and the like getting popularity over in the UK, so lots of the bands were emo bands. The only two I could remember were The Holiday Plan (Who I remember being pretty badass) and Foolproof (Who were shitty...but had a fairly catchy song).

I searched a bit and found they'd both split up...but that info was wrong, as tonight, as I'm sittign here eating izza and looking at Strung Out live videos on youtube, I stumble across a Foolproof video from the same user...live...from this year...and it fucking SUCKS!!! It's the same band, they look gay as fuck, and it's the only song i remember from them..>"Paper House" or some shit...it's fucking awful...check it out for yourself...

On the other hand...The Holiday Plan are broken up...but here's a video so you can bask in their greatness :shifty:

So yeah...bands that dissapeared off the face of the earth...who can you remember?

And in other news...this rocks, stoners should not be allowed to make video journals;

Rooney. They had "Blue Side" and the self-titled album released around...I'd like to say 2002, and not a damn bit of material since.

Quarashi. I remember they had a fucking awesome song called "Mr. Jinx" out plus "Stick 'Em Up" and then I think they broke up. :(

Secret Machines. I haven't heard shit from them since "Nowhere Again" came out.

Me and my mate were wondering the other day what happened to The Vines.

They released a new album last year. I've only heard their single from it ("Don't Listen to the Radio") but it's pretty much like everything else they've done except worse. Highly Evolved is a pretty decent album, though.

Probably best said in the 'Wankers in Rock' thread, but the lead singer of the Vines always seemed like one of the bigger wankers going.

Plus they were shit....that didn't help.
