Apparently they'll send me a new one after they put on a $125 charge on my credit card, which will be removed once I send the old one back, seems a bit ridiculous.

Here's what we're actually getting with the country pack.

12/17 DLC

Brad Paisley - “Mud on the Tires”

Brooks & Dunn - “Hillbilly Deluxe”

Dierks Bentley - “Free and Easy (Down the Road I Go)”

Dixie Chicks - “Sin Wagon”

Miranda Lambert “Gunpowder & Lead”

Each track will be available starting December 16, 2008, for the Xbox360 and December 18, 2008, for PS3. Each individual track will be available for $1.99 (160 Microsoft Points) and $8.49 (680 Microsoft Points) for the 5-pack.

Boo-urns!

Where's my Johnny Cash, Bourbon Crow, Hank III, Garth Brooks or Billy Ray Cyrus?

Any similar artists would be accepted as well. Except similar to Garth Brooks, because there is only one Garth Brooks... and change Billy Ray Cyrus' similar artists to other songs that are so awful and catchy that you can't help but love them when you're more wasted than Courtney Love on a Sunday.

Interesting articles about music games becoming oversaturated in the marketplace. Guitar Hero and Rock Band sales are way down and it's leading analysts to believe the genre has peaked. I can definitely understand it, people aren't going to keep shelling out money to clutter their living rooms with six guitars and three drum sets. The future of the genre is to stick with the hardware they have, release yearly discs and continue to pump out DLC. I could actually see Rock Band moving completely to digital content.

Ugh, so I've ordered my pedal replacement and haven't touched the drums since then, but my parents came by tonight and wanted to see Rock Band, so I figured I'd go through a song and just ignore the pedal parts.

But whats this? Now the down on my directional pad doesn't work either. Zero response from it when you try to sign in, and it goes completely balistic at the song selection screen.

So now I've got a whole new fucking kit being shipped out to me.

I can't say I'm surprised. The peripherals are way too expensive for the fact that they're glorified controllers that only work for a handful of games and unless a later game introduces elements that make the older things obsolete, I'll be sticking with my Xplorer. Harmonix seem to have grasped this - the only gameplay elements that were added or changed from the original Rock Band were ones that have nothing to do with your hardware - while Activision haven't - the slider bar on their new guitar and having to top RB by having five drum pads and a bass.

I'd likely get Alive, Evenflow and Jeremy. Presuming of course that Ellis and Kaney did too >_>

Alive is in the game already. Have you yet to play that song or something? :shifty:

No, I was just thinking of the album tracks, rather than what was already on the 6000-song tracklist that I unfortunately can't always remember the entirety of.
