FUCKING HELL.

Tracks available on Xbox 360 (Sept. 1) and PLAYSTATION 3 system (Sept. 3):

• Avenged Sevenfold – “Bat Country”

• The Jam – “A Town Called Malice”

• The Jam – “Going Underground”

• Oasis – “Supersonic” (Live)

• Rage Against the Machine – “Guerilla Radio”

• Talking Heads – “And She Was”

• Talking Heads – “Crosseyed & Painless”

• Talking Heads – “Girlfriend is Better”

• Talking Heads – “Once in a Lifetime”

• Talking Heads – “Take Me to the River”

(All tracks are original master recordings)

These tracks will be available for purchase as Talking Heads Pack 01 and as individual tracks on Xbox 360 and PLAYSTATION 3 system.

I will buy pretty much all of these. This is one hell of a week

EDIT: It's starting to look like the list of artists scheduled to be coming 'soon' will be coming a lot sooner than thought. I mean seriously, Tom Petty last week, Talking Heads this week (and some would say that isn't even the best DLC this week) so maybe we'll see Nirvana, White Stripes or something else next week :D

Was the Playstation Store updated yesterday, as for some reason I couldn't find the new Rock Band tracks(namely Rebel Yell) last night or this morning for that matter.

And about damn time Bat Country gets added, now all I need is Gunslinger, Scream, Beast and the Harlot, and Trashed and Scattered(though that will never happen) and all my Avenged Sevenfold wants will be fulfilled.

Some more Lego:Rock Band songs have been leaked

David Bowie - Let's Dance

Elton John - Crocodile Rock

Iggy Pop - The Passenger

The Police - Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic

Queen - We Are the Champions

Queen - We Will Rock You

T. Rex - Ride a White Swan

And someone has confirmed that they're exportable, but likely as a unique exportable thing so you can't just trade it in afterwards ¬_¬

In other news a Queen 10 pack has been announced, but the only song confirmed is Under Pressure (so we have a 12 pack if we count the L:RB songs)

And according to rumours the Rock Band: Unplugged songs are going to be released in September (but it's looking very likely like they'll be 9/8's dlc)

Okay, how do you get every game early? WHAT IS YOUR SECRET.

I'm hoping it's at the Penny Arcade Expo this weekend, but the problem is I'd need four people and the ability to stand in the long-ass lines Rock Band always gets (as opposed to the... nonexistant lines Guitar Hero had last year).

I have a few methods.

But this time around was 7 Eleven. I've lucked out with this and Batman so far.

If that doesn't work there's usually always someone on Craigslist who knows someone else that can get me it early.

I don't want any fucking Jackson 5 DLC.

Give me The Jacksons "This Place Hotel", or something by Michael that isn't "Smooth Criminal" or "Beat It."

Freezepop however, can someone get me a new pair of pants?

Turns out the leak was right.

Tracks available on Xbox 360 (Sept. 8) and PLAYSTATION 3 system (Sept. 10):

Freezepop – “Get Ready 2 Rokk” *

Freezepop – “Less Talk More Rokk” *

Freezepop – “Science Genius Girl” *

Jonathan Coulton – “Re: Your Brains” *

MC Frontalot – “Origin of Species” *

Paul & Storm – “Opening Band” *

3 Doors Down – “Kryptonite”

AFI – “Miss Murder”

Audioslave – “Gasoline”

Jackson 5 – “ABC”

Freezepop, Audioslave and Jackson 5!

But it comes out on the same day as The Beatles: Rock Band so naturally I'll not bother with DLC for a few weeks ¬_¬

EDIT: Freezepop songs are 80msp each so I WILL HAVE TO GET THEM

Mmmmmmmmm Freezepop. Always a bonus high point of the earlier Guitar Heros and I've played Sprode to death on Rock Band so these three will please me, especially Less Talk More Rokk.

"So throw your panties on the stage......No wait, you're underage"......Awesome.

Okay, I've played the following songs on The Beatles: Rock Band;

- Helter Skelter (vocals)

- Yellow Submarine (guitar)

- Back in the USSR (bass)

- I Saw Her Standing There (bass)

- And Your Bird Can Sing (guitar)

Highlight is that they include Ringo Starr's "I'VE GOT BLISTERS ON ME FINGERS" on the vocal track so you get to scream along with that at the end of the song. Game's pretty fun all in all (harmony vocals rule but will be hard to actually pull off), and I'm definitely looking forward to getting to properly explore it once I get it in the mail.
