I heard a snippit of the French song, and i have heard about the drag act. And of course, Scooch. I don't know everyone else. I'll wait till the end to pass my judgement.

I put a £20 bet that ireland finish above England

I saw the odds for that at 4/5, given that Scooch are poo, we are tactical voted all to hell and Ireland are usually half way decent it's basically free money. I didn't take the offer up though, i'll probably wish I had by the end of the night.

Really though, our song, the chorus is catchily cheesy enough but the first verse (which admittedly is all i've heard) is just them listing countries. How is that good?

Also, I heard one of the countries followed Lordi's lead with the whole monster thing and is entering vampires. Will anothername be in here to complain they don't fit this context?

The BBC news website mentioned something about Ukraine being favourites earlier in the day. And if they do, you have to ask, what is it with Eurovision voters that just sends them nutty over a drag queen? I can't remember what year that Israeli one won it, but it can't have been *that* long ago.

Oh, and I'm informed by the aforementioned girlfriend that this guy from Belarus sounds exactly like the guy who does the theme songs to all the yaoi (hardcore gay porn) anime series. Hmm.
