Premier of Satellite Part (sp?), new Velvet Revolver album, new QOTSA album, new Chris Cornell album, Maroon 5's sophomore effort, Marilyn Mansons return, "Icky Thump" of course, Smashing Pumpkins and the new JEW album.

If they see this year, Aerosmith, Alkaline Trio, Babyshambles, Blur, The Cure , The Coral, Coldplay, Dirty Pretty Things, Foo Fighters and G 'N' R.

Wow, i can't believe i only just found out about this but i definetely am getting A Tribe Called Quest's 6th and final album. I'm sure it won't be as good as any Midnight Marauders or Low End Theory but i'm still buying it. Planned for December 2007, good chance it will be delayed but i thought i would mention it anyway.

- Black Market Hero (though this is not confirmed to even be out in 2007, but they have seven songs out so far, so a full album can't be too far behind, so 2007 is a real possibility).

- Flaw

- Five Bolt Main (technically it is Chris Volz with a different band since the originals quit on him and he just did this because he had a two cd contract to fulfill, but I like all his stuff, so I am looking forward to this)

- Metallica

- Ozzy Osbourne

- New Pornographers

- Velvet Revolver

And Benji, Marilyn Mansons' album is already out and it sucks.

Lets add a few more;

"Calling The World" by Rooney - The 3 songs I've heard thus far are amazing.

"Reunion Tour" by The Weakerthans - Probably the best Canadian indie band, who never get the love they deserve. Can't wait for this thing to drop. The new live songs all sound great.

"New Maps Of Hell" by Bad Religion - The song on myspace is definately a grower. It's slow, and sounds really different to what you'd expect. I hated it at first, but now can't stop listening to it. Production is top notch. Verse sounds kind of Nirvana'ry, and the chorus is 'epic'. Hope the rest of the album isn't like it though.

They're the three I'm craving for at the minute (Outside of "Blackhawks Over Los Angeles"). But there's also A Wilhelm Scream, Death By Stereo, Streetlight Manifesto, Against Me!, Paint It Black, Afterburner, The Polyphonic Spree, Jimmy Eat World, Propagandhi etc.

There could be a shitload here, but I'm just going to touch on the ones I really, really am looking forward to.

Queens of the Stone Age

Smashing Pumpkins

Massive Attack

DevilDriver

Byzantine

High on Fire

Down

Yeah that pretty much sums up the most anticipated out of a core of my favorite bands.

  • 1 month later...

Sum 41's Underclass Hero is coming out 3 weeks from today. And after listening to 2 tracks on it, I'm really anticipating this. I've waited a year and a half for a new studio album from them.

Also, last time I checked Rob Zombie's MySpace, he said that he's releasing a live album this year.
