Rocky standing up after getting his ass whipped in Rocky Balboa. I got chills; it was awesome.

The final scene of Scarface.

Jules and Vincent's opening scene in the car in Pulp Fiction.

Two scenes in Forrest Gump; the scene where Forrest asks Jenny to marry him, and the scene at the grave :(

The end of Saving Private Ryan.

So much of Rain Man.

Ahh and a few from Apocalypse Now:

+ The helicopter assault (Ride Of The Valkyries) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XjYhTnh6Zaw...ted&search=

+ "The end" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XOxVjtZujcU...ted&search= The opening sequence. They got Martin Sheen (a recovering alcoholic at the time) completely bladdered to shoot the scene.

+ Everything involving Marlon Brando http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_5npYWfRlkw...ted&search= They've really butchered a couple of scenes together but you get the idea - namely the "innoculated arms" scene and the scene at the end with Brando speaking about men being trained to drop fire on people but they can't write "f**k" on their aircraft because it's obscene".

While I'm in a Brando mood...

Streetcar Named Desire.

Now hear me out here. The film itself is decent enough but Marlon Brando completely owns it. It was a vehicle for Vivien Leigh, a real olde-worlde actress but Brando was one of the new school and was clearly better.

"It just popped in there..."

"What? What 'just popped in there."

Jackie Chan is easily my favorite action movie star. His western movies like Rush Hour and the Shanghai series aren't bad, but they've got nothing on his Hong Kong work from the 80s and 90s.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mFEKKeEWaGo This scene from Police Story is the best fight scene I've ever seen.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GaAvNHWjInM This scene from Drunken Master 2 is also one of my favorites.

I can't find it on youtube, but the end of the hospital scene in Hardboiled, where Chow Yun-Fat has a shotgun in one hand, and a baby in the other, it's fantastic.

In Akira, when Tetsuo stops the tank shell. It's a small thing, but for some reason I always thought it was really really cool. (

36 seconds into this video)

Ash Vs. His Hand in Evil Dead 2. "Who's laughing now?!" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PzXk3nfEdMY

I think one of the best fight scenes Chan ever did was the final one for his movie "Who Am I?"...it was the only redeeming quality of that entire movie.

Most of the ones I would have mentioned have already been mentioned, but a couple that weren't mentioned were the ending to John Q, and the bedroom scene from Scream with Skeet and Neve. Ulrich did an awesome job in that scene.

Edit: Forgot to add in the scene with Legolace from the LOTR when he takes out the Elephant like thing by himself..that was pretty cool.

Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure

The Future:

I couldn't find a clip of their report, but that definitely goes on the list, too.

Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey

Ending: http://youtube.com/watch?v=966yJ1of18I

I get chills every time I watch this. Easily my favorite movie ending ever.

Die Hard: With a Vengeance

Raiding the Federal Reserve: http://youtube.com/watch?v=B1X59j_Ll_E

Remember the Titans

Coach Yoast fires up the defense:

...and two that I couldn't find on Youtube:

The ending to Escape from L.A.

The scene in the final game in Angels in the Outfield, where Danny Glover goes out to the mound to talk to Tony Danza. It makes me cry every time I watch it. Hell, even thinking about it too much makes me start tearing up.

My girlfriend ribs me for liking this film so much, but seriously, not only is it good, but this scene to me is one of my favourite movie scenes.

 What's wrong with Gladiator?

She just thinks its a bit naff....I know a few people who do.

I have to side with your girlfriend on this one, mainly because I hate Russell Crowe and found the movie to be incredible boring. Is Crank a really good movie? I've never watched anything with Jason Statham in it, but I've thought about watching The Transporter and Crank.

I love this scene in another of my favourite films, this time it's Memento.

I'm Chasing This Guy, No, He's Chasing Me!

Amazing, however, you may not get it if you haven't seen the film.

*EDIT*

Another that i have just found, this time from Lethal Weapon 4.

Joe Pesci and Chris Rock are hillarious in the film.
