Twilight Princess = Nov 19 2006 in North America, Dec 2-8 everywhere else. Exactly the same for Wii Sports, too. So it depends where he lives as to whether they can count.

I think these all came out in 2007 but I haven't checked. The only reason the end of my list is so bad is because I ran out of good games I actually played.

I'll vote for it, except that looking at all these people who've put Assassin's Creed in their top 10 has already destroyed whatever hope I have for this list.

I agree, therefore we should only allow people to vote who have played EVERY SINGLE GAME RELEASED THIS YEAR. Then, we will know.

Something else that should be pointed out.. is there going to be a cut-off here for games that were ported? Just off the top of my head looking at Mattman's list, Elder Scrolls IV was 2006 for sure... but ported to the PS3 in 2007 with basically no changes other than built in expansion. Guitar Hero II, same deal.. sans expansion, and from other systems to 360.
