The CONMEBOL started in October. So far, each team has had 4 games. Paraguay are top, followed by Argentina, Brazil, Colombia and Venezuela in the possible qualifiers standings. Wikipedia has more on the matter.

And for those confused, the CONMEBOL qualifiers don't even have a draw, they're all involved, everytime. It's almost always the same order they play each other in as well.

Interestingly, in regards to the World Cup, my aunt lives in Cape Town and so I would in theory have the opportunity to go there with free board/food/transportation. However I'm too shit scared of the country as a whole to actually venture within 1,000 miles of it.

Cape Town is an awesome, awesome, stunningly beautiful town, probably one of the nicest I've been to visually, if anything you should go there even if you do not go to the WC. I may go myself, I have friends and relatives I could stay with. Though my interest in international football will severely wane if the Euro turns out to be another diving fest like the WC or the Copa America, in which case I will only go if Canada makes it.

Australia should get out of that group with Iraq loosely behind them, maybe China could take Iraq out. There would be an outcry from United States if Iraq qualify, that is, if United States qualify out of their easy group!
