See, that is where i'm apparently failing but I figure since I have dual core 1.8ghz I should be fine but I have little to no clue on this technical mumbo jumbo. If anything, I thought my onboard graphics would fail me but apparently they're fine.

I figured that logic too but having looked at the spec for Sims 2 it is a bit of a difference, figures since it's 4 years old. There's no harm in trying really. I mean, the requirement test site (this one) said I wouldn't be able to run Civ 4 (Civ 4 says I can't run Civ 4 as well) but it runs fine.
