Mario Kart Wii

Anyone getting this? Europe has a sexy release date of this Friday (11th) whilst NA waits till 24th. Maybe Nintendo doesn't hate Europe after all? (Who am I kidding?)

But yes, I have this on pre-order and hopefully I will get it Thursday/Friday. I guess we share our codes and what not in here.

Codes:

King Ellis - 3995-6619-3160

Myke - 0044 3130 6458

The Wii has its own individual friend code, while each game has their own you have to use.

I grew tired of Mario Kart by the time of Double Dash. It's seemingly repeating itself and lost its charm to me. And this one in particular looks dreadfully dull.

I'll be getting hold of it when my staff discount at Gamestation kicks in.

Out of interest what discount do you actually get?

I might be getting this. Recently I've been playing Double Dash in hospital and I like it. And I've been wanting a wheel since I got a Wii.

I get what you mean, but it's always a blast multiplayer. We played Double Dash and 64 almost constantly at Uni. Also, the arcade versions are a laugh and a half.

I won't know till I start on Thursday.

I'm quoting this to moan about Ninty's lame ass way of things. Its such a fucking pain to have to enter in a code for every game (admittedly I've only done the Wii console & PES so far, but still annoying) and then have to wait for them to enter your code. Such an annoying time consuming process.

Having said that I'll probably getting myself this on Friday. Love meself a little bit of red shelling.

It is here. :)

My code is: 3995-6619-3160.

I'll start a list in my original post.

:w00t: I was racing against a bunch of Japanese people and I won most of the races. I think I finished 4th in one because I crashed into a cow.

Above their cart is their name and then there's a symbol. I only ever saw the wheel but I guess there'll be different symbols for 'mote/'chuck, classic controller and GC controller.

Differs game to game. Read the instruction manuals for full details.

Should it be on the first page where the pictures of the Wiimote and Nunchuk are?

If so none of my games can do both.

On closer inspection it may not be in the manuals at all, as I'm fairly positive Resident Evil 4 allows you to use a Gamecube controller, but its not in the manual. You may have to use the internet and/or trial and error for your games. Or y'know ignore the possibility and play it the fun way with the shaking and stuff.

Edit: The Virtual Console games show which type of controller is compatiable with the game, so that may be where my confusion comes from.
