Felt sorry for Rio he was outstanding last season and composed through out most of the match. Everton came out firing after half time and deserved the point.

He was shocking throughout the first 35 minutes of the second half and he didn't have much to do prior to that.

1439: Ugly. Fans are spilling onto the pitch, and fighting has broken out. We'll hear more about that I'm sure. Disappointing end to an engaging derby. Sunderland defeat Newcastle for the first time since 2000, when chairman Niall Quinn got the winner.

1441: Not surprisingly, the cameras have panned away from the trouble at the Stadium of Light, but there are reports of seats being thrown. The police have moved in in numbers...

This cannot end well. :/

Well seeing as Newcastle lost, are the team looking as though they'll get relegated and it's Sunderland's stadium, I'll take an educated guess that it's the Barcodes.

You never know. When Rovers beat Burnley at their place a few years agao, their fans decided to get revenge by smashing up their own town centre. >_>

I have no problem with booing thugs, yet throwing projectiles that could cause serious damage isn't a really smart thing to be doing. Oh he's a bad person so me assaulting him through throwing coins and possibly blinding him makes everything better.

I didn't say I approved, just that he deserves it.

It gives character to the place...

9 to 5 you ever been to a Burnley/BlackBurn match? I've always wanted to go to one. I've been to Burnley/Preston game at Deepdale... caught train there, all the Burnley fans who got the train were escorted by police to the stadium. I'd imagine thats pretty normal for teams with rivalries?
