There are no spoilers in these videos. The Abilities video talks about the traits you can level up; they're separated into three categories (Melee, Range, & Magic). The Magic videos explain how the magic system works.

Form what I understand, there are 8 spells in the game. You can assign 5 of those 8 spells to the five spell caster levels. If I assign Inferno to the first spell cast level, I just tap B and shoot a weak fireball, where as if I assign it to the fifth level, I have to charge it up (hold B) and the result is a bigger and more powerful Inferno.

The penalty for charging up your spell cast is that the damage done by enemies increases while you're charging.

Here's how the magic system works; there are 8 spells, each can be leveled up 5 times. So if you have a level 2 Inferno, you can place it in the first and/or second spell caster slot. The spell caster slots still work the same as I stated above. There are 2 types of magic, tap/hold B for an Area of Effect attack or tap/hold B and point to an enemy with the left thumbstick to attack them directly.

I've probably logged three to four hours into it so far today and I don't think I've even scratched the surface of what the game has to offer. The world is set up like the last one except most of the areas are probably three times the size of anything seen in the original. Plenty of stuff to explore and lot's of secrets to find.

I love this game. The dog is just... I can't help but grow attached. My only gripe? My wife in Bowerstone won't fuck off.

Once I bought a house and got her pregnant, she doesn't bug me. Now I have to provide for her and a daughter. Thankfully I own the Pup and another store, so I'm getting over $800 every five minutes.

I married and bought a crap house in Bowerstone. I picked my future wife after a game of Keystone at the tavern. She was sitting at the bar. I worked for the blacksmith until I became a 4-star blacksmith, but that job isn't available anymore. So I knocked up my wife and we've had our first kid. Right after, I went out for a few days checking things out. I came back because my wife wanted sex. I got home from work around 4:30 and just stopped at 8, so about three and a half hours spent on it and I've not even begun any actual quests. Really enjoying it.
