Was at the Arsenal game last night. These kids Wenger has put together really are something special. Vela is just incredible, another great performance and classy goal last night. And I think Aaron Ramsey has even more potential than Fabregas had at 17! Its just a shame that with the exception of Vela, Ramsey and maybe Wilshere, as awesome as the majority of these youngsters are, I can't see them making a serious run in the first team.

I knew we'd get hammered as soon as I saw the team. A new keeper behind a defence containing a new, unfit right-back, a centre back that can't run and a left back that has looked incapable of playing as part of a four. Our central midfield is non-existant, El Zhar is Championship class at best and Babel is useless when he starts. Torres looks uninterested and unfit, and N'Gog just doesn't look like a footballer at all.

Exactly. Degen hasn't played and has been injured for about two years, Dossena spent his time in Italy playing as a wingback in a 3-5-2 and Hyypia's legs went years ago. Play him with Reina, Carragher and Aurelio and he's alright. Stick him with players like Degen and Dossena and you're asking for a hiding, especially against a team brimming with confidence.
