For Golf I think if they're playing in just the majors then it shouldn't be a problem.....because guys earn exemptions into the major tournaments until they're pretty much dead. If they're playing other PGA events then I don't think they should count. If they're on the Champions tour and have been off of the PGA Tour for 3 years feel free to vote for them.

I don't think so. Sorensen was definitely the Danish keeper at the 2002 World Cup as I remember his mistake in England's 3-0 win over them. Schmeichel retired from the international game about a year beforehand.

My ballot:

1. Ayrton Senna

2. Pete Sampras

3. George Best

4. Michel Platini

5. Tony Adams

I wanted to list Schumacher but he hasn't been retired for three years, although I believe somebody else put him on their ballot.

Liemuex wouldn't count given his comeback in 06/07 I don't think.

Yeah I mean wikipedia's just round the corner. >_>

Oh and Bremner was a sometime Scotland international that was banned for heavy drinking. I can't recall him doing anything else of note. :)

Has it only been that long for arguably the great driver in Formula 1 history? It feels like forever.

Just something to think about, Does it count if an athlete competes in a charity game/race something along those lines?
