I fucking love it. I barely ever watch telly, so I only caught half an episode of the new series, but then went on to watch a couple of repeats on Challenge, and it's brilliant - Reeves & Mortimer can be a bit too nineties, a bit too of-their-time sometimes, but fuck it, Shooting Stars is still incredible. Watching The Shining and Shooting Stars the other night was superb, it was like weekends with my Dad when I was eight.

I'd just started downloading some of the old series when a friend told me that a new series was showing in the UK.

I loved Shooting Stars and am watching second series now. I think it's 1997 and then the third series is 1999. Their stuff then was wonderfully random at times and I really love 'em.

As it went on though Shooting Stars did suffer a couple of problems just down to the repetitive nature of a quiz show.

Still, I wish Bob Mortimer was a little more of a straight man sometimes.

Shooting Stars is brilliant. It's just so insanely different from anything else. You know you can just sit down and watch it, and for half an hour just enjoy it for what it is - a weird showbiz bubble of craziness.

It's so bizzare and in many ways shit that it actually becomes really good. It's got a real old school feel to it as well, which really helps it. Not to mention the brilliance of Angelos and the beauty of UlriKAKAKA.

For some bizarre reason I feel compelled to watch it on the iPlayer every week, but I wouldn't say that I enjoyed it OR looked forward to it. With that said; it is thoroughly entertaining when it is on.

Shooting Stars is brilliant....sometimes it is really hit and miss, but when it is good it is hilarious.
