Maxi and Torres work really well together, but my goodness Maxi cannot finish from inside the box with the keeper to beat. I think that's the 3rd time I've seen Maxi blow a one-on-one in the past two matches I've seen Liverpool play. Goodness.

edit: Yeah, Maxi is awful from one on one's. He was lucky he was offside earlier in the half when Torres put him through for the first time because he arsed that one up as well.

We floated around after he went off and then started getting on top again...then Kaboul went off and then Liverpool had a few chances. Sloppy goal too. Liverpool shouldn't be winning but meh, they took their chance....Or one of them anyway.

RIDICULOUS defending though. Criminal. I agree, the ball didn't pass the line but the ref would have been looking at his feet which were at least a foot inside the area. He just jumped with his arms forward.
