Certainly not a horrible list. Sloan are way too high in my opinion, they never had that level of popularity. Malajube at #50 seems like a way to get a French song in the top half, I suspect nobody consulted really had any idea what was popular in Quebec (then again, if you asked me, I'd have put "Mon Pays" much higher, so I probably don't much either).

Much as I love the New Pornographers and they're my favourite band ever, they don't deserve to be on this list. Even Wintersleep are closer to something resembling mainstream.
